Nice color. Bright
Nice color. Bright. Dims.I tested one in my 6 bulb chandelier with edison style incandescents, and it blends in nicely. I'll be ordering more to fill it out and update review after I see how they all dim as LED. Local dealer said that many would require a compatible and matched driver and dimmer switch.Only downside really seems to be the price.

not bright at all
I was replacing 60 watt edisons with thes "90 watt equivalents" because I wanted a brighter light. These put out half the light of my 60 watt bulbs. Returned within 1 day of receipt.

Bright, warm light. Economical LED. Attractive all-glass envelope.
I was getting tired of the humming and buzzing from the CFL bulbs in my chandelier (even with a modern universal dimmer switch that supposedly handles CFLs), so I finally decided to replace them with LEDs.For the central fixture, I chose the 90-watt equivalent (7.5-watt actual) bulb with extra-long filaments in a clear glass envelope. As you can see from my photo, it's an attractive-looking bulb that emits light that closely emulates a warm white incandescent bulb. I was extremely pleased to find that it doesn't hum, buzz, or flicker when dimmed like the CFL bulbs did.One odd thing to report... I had planned to buy a spare, but the price shot up unexpectedly from $8 to more than $20 after my purchase. I guess that I shouldn't worry about it since these bulbs have a life of 25,000+ hours. That's a good thing because buying another one for more than twice the price is a bit off-putting.

Looks nice!
My wife wanted an old-looking light bulb, I wanted a LED one. This was the perfect mix between both. If you look carefully, we can see that the bulb is a LED one and not an incandescent one, but the light pattern, shape and look is the one I was looking for. I will buy more in the future for some nice looking kitchen lights!

Doesn't work on all dimmers.
This one does not dim on any of my LED dimmers but works OK on non-LED dimmers such as the Lutron Skylark and other older models.
