Good product, really helps.
Works very well for Inguinal Hernias. Has pads for either side, or you can use both at the same time if you have a double like me. It's as comfy as it can be, make sure the Velcro is lined up properly. It's a bit bulky and awkward but it's way better than going without. I've got a month until surgery and I'll wear this everyday.

Great belt for the money!
Works great! I wear it while walking and doing chores around the house. The belt is comfortable and I hardly notice it being there.

Great hernia belt
This belt has worked great for me. It has allowed me to exercise vigorously without the burning sensation I felt when exercising without it. I am even able to play hockey with it on. It does not fit well under clothing so you need to wear a loose fitting top or coat if you want to cover it from view. Also, the Velcro on the main waist strap wears out after a few weeks so you might need a replacement or get Velcro tape if you need to wear this for an extended period of time.

Too many pieces
The elastic straps that run from back to front are two separate straps with Velcro on each end. Each time you wash the truss, you have to reattach the straps. Also, the waist strap has Velcro just on the end of the belt, so if you pull it tight or have a smaller waist, the underneath portion that is overlapped can move. I rated this belt a 3, but could go to a 2 quite easily. The VELPEAU truss is a better brand. It's a little higher priced, but is a better choice. The better quality is worth the extra cost. On the VELPEAU, the straps are sewn to the back of the belt. This makes it easier to put on and adjust. Also, the belt portion has Velcro over a longer section of Velcro on the end so you get a nice snug fit and the overlapped portion doesn't slide around. I thought the Tenbon truss would be like the VELPEAU, but it isn't. I kept the Tenbon truss, but ordered another VELPEAU. My attempt to save a couple of dollars was a bust. By the way, if you need to wear these, go get your hernia repaired, then when healed, wear these when you will be lifting.

Allows me to work in my yard all day an play with my grandchildren with no pain or stress.
I'm 74. I was feeling occasional pangs of lower abdominal pain. After an MD exam I realized I have an inguinal hernia on my left side. The first opportunity I have for surgery is about 6 weeks away. The more I continued to work in my yard and play with my grand kids the more frequently the pains were occurring. The low pressure also increased after a big meal. I looked at several trusses on Amazon and this Tenbon belt truss seemed like a simple non-bulky unit for a reasonable price. I got the double belt thinking it might be more versatile and might give me more support all the way across my lower groin, even if I only needed and used the left side pad. Delivery was 1 day. As soon as I put this on I could feel the support pushing against my hernia. There were no pain pangs and I feel more confident that every strenuous activity will not be making my hernia worse. This really lets me do much of my normal life without worrying or being super cautious. I still avoid heavy direct lifting of over 50 lbs but I no longer worry about doing most other activities. I took the plastic pad out of the right side and I do feel more support all the way across my lower abdomen so I'm glad I got the double unit. 1) After a few tries and adjustments this belt is easy to put on and take off. Just pull each leg loop up and into place and the pull the waist strap around from your back and velcro the end to the front of the strap. 2) I have a 33 waist and wear 32 or 34 pant size. I bought the LARGE size belt and it fits perfect. There is extra length and it stretches so If you are a 35 to 37 pant size I'd still recommend the Large. 3) This belt is light weight and not bulky. It rides about an inch or 2 lower than your pant waist /belt line and no one can notice that you are wearing it under regular pants or shorts. I have not tried it with jeans. 4) It's well made. Easy to adjust for many thigh widths. Very comfortable to wear all day. 5) It's a difficult to pee standing up but the whole unit slides up and down easily without undoing the waist strap if you just drop it with your underwear to sit down. This Truss has been a life saver for me as it relieved my fears of walking stairs or doing most normal activity. I would definitely recommend it. ------------------------------------------- Edit 6/26/22 I have now been wearing this belt for 4 weeks including a week vacation for a college reunion. I could not have managed without this belt. It was comfortable on a 5 hour flight and easy to manage in the bathrooms. It was inconspicuous under several types of pants (shorts, stretch golf pants and dress slacks) . It even supported for long times standing and dancing. A few times I didn't wear it in the morning and I could feel the hernia bulging. When I pit it back on the pain disappeared and the bulge stayed down. I did not wear it when sleeping.

Best Choice I Found
Sadly, I recently developed an inguinal hernia, most likely do in equal parts to my 50+ age and frequent resistance training. My family also has a proclivity for getting them so I also got a raw deal on the genetics side. Anyway, I tried another other belt before this one and there is no comparison. The Tenbon Truss is superior in every way, from materials to proper support. It is also easier to use. The other has a thong style center band while this one wraps around the legs and buttocks, avoiding going up "the crack". It is fairly easy to put on quickly, and using the bathroom isn't as much of a chore. I recommend long form fitting boxers when using a truss. Hey, I'm not happy about having to wear this, but I'm glad to have it. I didn't put it on one morning and sat down the wrong way, and ...OUCH! If you've experienced the hot poker like pain, then I don't need to describe it. If you haven't yet felt the pain but have developed a hernia, then do yourself a favor and don't let that happen. I'm not sure when surgery will be an option, but until then this belt is my new best friend. I like the quality of this product and the fact I can just wear it to protect one side. The straps are very adjustable. I 6' and 185 lbs., and the medium is ideal for my 32" waist. ~ Kort

Can't thank you enough Amazon! I ordered two different Inguinal hernia belt products. One is a single/double and the other a single only. The first product could be delivered on Aug 11th. The second product could be delivered a day later on Aug 12th. It made sense to deliver both on Aug 12th. Amazon offered to deliver the first product on Aug 11th and the second on Aug 12th at no additional shipping cost. It was important to me to start using either product as soon as possible. I placed my order late Aug 9th and received the first product as promised on Aug 11th. The on line customer feedback at Amazon was very helpful. Began using the Tenbon Hernia belt (large size) as soon as I received it. It worked great. It offered immediate pain relief. The velcro held securely. The waist band is stretchy and has some give when you are sitting or moving around. I could not be more pleased with the fit and the colour. The two straps that go between your legs are attached with velcro. You can use either one or both straps. I have a hernia on the right side only. So far I have chosen not to use the straps with a very good result. Likely depends on the location of the hernia. Earlier on Aug 9th after leaving my doctor, I had gone to a national pharmacy location in Halifax HRM with a separate department that specializes in medical and therapeutic products. There was only one product available for forInguinal Hernia. The customer service was poor and I was sold a medium size that was too small.I had been assured that it would fit. I wanted black and they only had white. The design and quality was not even close to the Tenbon Hernia Belt Truss. It will definitely be returned to the pharmacy. Thanks again to the Amazon Team. Nov 5, 2024 UPDATE. This product has been invaluable. I use it every day. During Aug. 2024 I switched out the triangular shaped pad that came with this product for a pad from another belt that is flatter and softer compared to the original very firm pad that had a convex shape. Early on I noticed that the velcro on the belt can catch on clothing. My solution has been to end one stretchy strap over and past the belt velcro connection so that it presses down and keeps the belt velcro firmly in place. This also keeps it flat and stops it from catching on any clothing. I use only a compression pad on my right side. The stretchy velcro strap attaches to the front (side with pad) and goes down against the inside of my right leg. The velcro strap then goes around my leg and heads in the direction of my stomach and next velcros on the belt just past the belt velcro connection. The other strap goes around the outside of the belt and terminates beside the first strap. The two straps hold the main belt velcro overlap nice and flat so that nothing catches on it such as pants, shirt etc. I have been able to do almost all of what I did before my hernia because of this belt. However I am very careful about lifting anything too heavy. I also do things smarter. I use a piece of equipment whenever practical to drag or lift things. I also ask friends for help on occasion. I hope that this information is useful. All the best.

This truss was comfortable and helped to keep my hernia in place in normal activities. It has velcro attachments which are were a bit weak. The attachments were much stronger with added velcro strips.
