My grandson became a "Cardinal" this year for little league. I bought this for him and will give it to him after he finishes his first game this spring. It is a very high quality ball, has a soft feel/cushion which is great for a 5 year-old to catch, and is just as pictured. The best part about it was the price- I have seen the exact same ball at a local store for twice the price.
