I love these eco-friendly bags! Ever since I watched a documentary on the drastic effects the over-use of plastic is having planet-wide, I've been a huge advocate for environmentally friendly solutions. What I like about these produce bags is they're made with organic cotton. I spend the extra time and money buying organic foods for my family - why should I then use those flimsy green plastic bags which leech chemicals into my produce! Also love that the set comes with a swaddle sheet for lettuce. In addition to being super convenient, these bags are also just so cute. Couldn't be happier.

I have been carrying my own bags to the farmers market for nearly 30 years. As such, I have used a variety of bags and totes to carry my goodies. These bags are the best that I have tried for produce. They are WELL made and sturdy. I LOVE that the tare for each bag is printed on the side of each bag. Someone finally made reuseable produce bags properly! These will be around a LONG time.

They started charging for regular grocery bags where I live in January, and I bought a set of grocery sized bags then. At first it seemed annoying, but after a few weeks, I really started to see the positives--not just the environment, but less nonsense for me to deal with. But a few weeks ago, I saw one of those super green hippie people in front of me at the store, with literally 20 of the produce bags in her cart. It seemed silly to me (and I realize I should have realized it sooner!) that one type of bag is now 'bad' but the other is 'good'? Nah. I normally used only 1-2 produce bags a week, but still, good heavens, I didn't need to use ANY, did I?Hence this purchase. Being a clueless nerd, I wasn't sure what style or size I would use most--mesh or solid, big or small. So this seemed a great sampler option--plenty of sizes and both kinds of bags. Also, the plastic lock tabs mean: Machine washable!They've been great so far: sturdy seams, the fabric substantial and solid. I did wash the 'swaddle sheet' before use, because it felt like it might have been stiff with fabric sizing, something I wasn't sure I wanted on my lettuce, and it's softened up nicely.The packaging is pressed paper, with a wee bit of tape. I was sad to see so many reviews of these products who got outraged at the possibility of plastic packaging, and how they would one star a product they otherwise seemed like, simply based on, I guess, the fact that they didn't have reliable plastic recycling in their community? But then, they seem okay with the plastic toggle on the bags? Man, I like being environmentally conscious, but not if it means I'm a Mean Greenie.

Everything is good. They’re super useful. The only thing I don’t like is the packaging. I think it’s already enough with just the paper wrap. They don’t need to cover it again in a plastic bag. I’m buying it purposely for zero waste shopping so my heart just sink when I saw it’s in plastic bag.

I really looked around before buying these bags. In fact, I bought some which turned out to be polyester (yuk!) and returned them. Other than the plastic toggles (which the company has explained), these seemed as if they'd be perfect and eco-friendly. The company apparently also has good employment procedures in Pakistan, so I thought I'd try the bags.I am *not* disappointed. I washed them immediately to shrink them, and they didn't shrink all that much. They are durable, and I love the variety of having a mesh bag as well as a "solid" one. They are soft and well-made. I use the swaddling cloth as a dishtowel, but it could be used for whatever a person needed.Good price, good company!

These are very nice and sturdy bags. They are a bit heavy compared to disposable plastic so getting the tare weight subtracted might be helpful, and the tare tags are easy to read at checkouts, I had to convince my local grocer, or talk to the right checked, to make this happen, but it is possible with courteous persistence. Now I just have to get the husband to remember to use them!

Love these and use them constantly. So easy to stuff inside each other and keep in the car (and my car is a lot neater now that I don't have a dozen large reusable plastic bags all over the floor). I make homemade bread so the large cloth piece is perfect for wrapping up any size loaf or rolls. Keeps bread moist and soft. I wasn't sure I'd like the combo of net and solid bags, but now see the purpose of each. The solid bags are great for anything that's a bit messy, garlic, onions, looseleaf lettuce, etc. I'm actually thinking about buying another set as they're also great for just throwing in the fridge with the veggies in them. Would definitely recommend!

I LOVE these! I've been trying to reduce my plastic usage and this is just what I was looking for! This set has more than enough bags in all different sizes. They're also super cute. I've gotten quite a few compliments from people at the grocery store. Looking forward to bringing them to the farmer market this spring/summer!

I received the bags quickly, however I am disappointed in the quality, I don't think they will last very long at all. There were a lot of loose threads, marks on one of the bags & another bag had a big run in it. The seams appear not to be stitched very well either. Even the printing on the bags is cheaply done.

they are a beautiful cotton but the non mesh bags aren't so great for storing veggies in the fridge very long... seems like clothe is not the best container for vegetables... however, the mesh bags work for picking out small vegetable items at the grocery store versus using their plastic!
