Perfect weight, flexibility and durability
I got this hose to hose to replace a "professional grade" 1 inch diameter hose that was very cumbersome to move around when I water the garden. I have another Gilmour Flexogen 50 foot hose that didn't quite reach and that is the 1 inch diameter version. I still like it but it wasn't long enough. So I tried this 75 foot 3/4 inch diameter version and it is perfect! I can move it around the garden with no issues at all because it's light-weight, doesn't snag or kink, and is very flexible. My 1 inch one is still flexible in winter so I expect this one will be too. The water flow isn't quite as fast as with the 1 inch, but is still excellent. I hang the 75 footer over a hose bracket in large loops so I don't get any problems with tangling. Just pick up the number of loops you need and walk away, dropping them on the ground one by one. The hose hardly gets twisted at all. So when I'm done, I just go to the bracket and pull the hose in a loop-length at a time and I'm done. The hose is very tough and has a slick finish that doesn't snag and stays cleaner than other hoses. There's also a life-time warranty - just cut the ends off and mail them back and Gilmour will send a new hose! I don't think I'll ever need to do that though as my other hose is still like new after three or four years. The only two small downsides are 1) the hose came in a tight roll so the very end was lightly kinked, but the kink has pretty much disappeared and is no bother, and 2) for a month or so, when I first use the hose, the water that has been sitting inside it has picked up some traces from the hose and should not be used to fill a bird bath - it bubbles a bit as if it's a little soapy until you've run it for 40 seconds or so. I'm thinking of getting another of these for the front yard. Highly recommended.

Lightweight and Kink Resistant (Made in USA)
I recently purchased the 75ft Gilmour Flexogen Super Duty hose to replace a worn hose on a hose reel. I considered the Flexzilla and Stanley FatMax hoses, but purchased the Gilmour hose because it has a coil spring at the end instead of a straight strain-relief shaft; the coil spring is able to conform to the hose reel better. The hose immediately exceeded my expectations. The coil spring on the female end is stainless steel, not zinc-plated steel which will rust. The couplings at each end are thicker and stronger than others garden hoses that I own. But the best part of this hose is how kink-resistant it is. I was afraid it would be less flexible than its competitors, but this hose is EXTREMELY flexible and light weight. I can turn the faucet on (keep hose pressurized) and walk into my yard while pulling the hose out of the hose reel, and I have NO KINKS while walking directly outward from the reel. This hose is Made In USA, and the materials, workmanship, and engineering truly exceeded my expectations in what a garden hose can do (and should be able to do). And contrary to some naysayers, Made In USA can be VERY competitive in many situations. This garden hose crushes it.

Nice hose
Looks like a nice hose, but it will take a few years to see how well it lasts. Meanwhile, it works well. Coils nicely and is not susceptible to kinking. The material is smooth and slick -- doesn't scuff my boat deck.

Good quality garden hose
I give it Four of Five stars as this hose is not as heavy duty as I expected. This hose is used on a reel and unless you hand feed it into reel, it flattens out a bit. This minimizes full flow if not completely unrolled.

Avoid: Bad Crimps Leaking
Ordered this hose due to hearing good things about it. Hose leaked at crimp on female end on first use. Amazon returned and replaced with a new hose. First use the replacement hose also leaked at the crimp but even worse than the first one. Not sure if not being properly crimped from factory, a bad batch, or improper materials but will definitely avoid the Gilmour brand from now on.

The garden hose you've been looking for!!
This hose has an amazing thick coating nothing really seems to stick to The hoses flexible but also thick. I live in Florida where it's very hot so it does get soft but it's still keeps its shape. This is one of the best garden hoses I've had. I've bought a few 75 ft heavy duty no kink hoses from the big box store and this hose was actually a little cheaper and more than double the quality. When they say they don't make them like that anymore. This is that hose!! You won't be sorry! Highly recommend! Do yourself a favor and pick one up!! Was not paid for this review whatsoever. Been looking for a long time for a decent hose these days. Read a bunch of reviews, figured I'd take a chance on this one. Really glad I did!! You will be too!!

I research this
This is a very nice, if spendy, hose. Nice brass ends and thick nice balance of bendablity and supportive stiffness. It is not entirely kink-free but doesn't kink super easily either. You get what you pay for in this case. I researched this so this is a recommended hose, not a super great cheap deal. I have yet to see how this hose holds up, but with normal garden use, I expect 20 years out of a "lifetime warranty" hose. If you keep it covered or out of the sun somehow it will last longer. I don't like coiling hoses or power cords tightly as it ruins them, plus it is time consuming. Still working on a way to keep my new hose out of UV light more often.

A bit flimsy for a Super Duty hose
I bought this because it was a Gilmour product and I have bought several of their products and been very satisfied - plus they have a lifetime warranty (they've replaced a sprinkler and spray nozzle without any fuss). However, this Super Duty hose is very flimsy and has not straightened out from shipping. I could have bought a much more heavy duty hose at a local home improvement store for about nine more dollars. On the plus side, the couplings are very well made and should last a long time. My concern is that I am going to have to take them up on their guarantee several times and with the way companies merge these days, I'm not sure there will always be a Gilmour to stand behind their warranty - they've already been bought by Fiskers.
