I had read over the reviews before purchasing these cards. I can say that I agree they are amazing. They really help you to get to know your child more and not because we don't speak to them but because these give a really good guide providing a large group of open questions to find out their processings of thoughts and emotions. These are an essential tool for parents wanting to make a conscious effort to connect with their children.

Our Moments is a wonderful & thought provoking way to engage with your children. I have two girls aged 7 & 8 & I have spent time with each of them using these cards to have the most wonderful conversations. I have discovered so many deep thoughts & feelings that my children have about different parts of their life. We are a really open family & we talk a lot but Our Moments opens up conversations that you may not have with your children everyday. I would highly recommend this product. Really small but neat packet, good quality cards. I only received this today yet I’ve already found out a few things about my children. The “and why?” Part of the question really get into the core of your children’s values, and just hammers home how important being present is. We had similar before from the fairy door company- but these questions are more fun and allow you to focus on good things.

Some of the reviews say that these make a good dinner or car journey ‘game’ to do with the kids (box says 6yrs+), I not so sure! We (my 7yr old son and 10yr old daughter) are only a little way in to the pack but it gets onto some pretty serious questions quite quickly, not quite the lighthearted dinner conversation that I was hoping for! I’ll keep going with them but for the price and content I’m not overly happy with them!

Bought for a 25 hour journey to NZ, we haven’t left yet but have had a look at a few cards and what a hit! My 3 children have already asked to play several times and it only arrived yesterday! Some lovely thought provoking questions! Will be a wonderful way for my children and their family in New Zealand to find out lots of things about each other!

This a good starter pack but if your kids are over 8 you will get through the very quickly. I would like the questions to be a bit more thought provoking so will be buying a another box but we are enjoying this and as I say a good starter pack.

I bought this, knowing that the content was going to be too advanced for my 3-year-old granddaughter. However, she loves to talk and to have one-to-one attention with parents and grandparents. With a little tweaking, most of these questions can be rephrased for her to understand. As she gets older these cards will be invaluable in initiating conversations about important issues, in a comfortable and relaxed style. I'm so glad I bought this product.

It was the perfect gift for Father's day. My dad's pretty quiet, so it was the perfect thing to get him to open up. My sister and I learned things about him we never knew, and our kids learned even more. They're all interesting questions that are fun to discuss, but without the occasion of the cards, no one's just going to ask. It's a great addition to a group video chat with the family. You can either take turns answering the questions, or split up the deck beforehand. You'll figure it out, but it's a fun family game.

These cards are wonderful. I’m a child psychologist and I use the cards in sessions sometimes as well as at home with my kids. I have always used the “table topics” series, but the questions in “our moments” are far more superior. They aren’t just surface level but draw on more meaningful topics and result in a deeper level of communication. I’m planning on ordering the couples deck next! Thanks so much.
