not coming loose anytime soon.
Just slapped... I mean hammered this tight fitting son of a gun on my mak90 yesterday. So far so good, has multiple set screws to help make sure it doesn't work lose but honestly I don't think it's going anywhere. I literally had to hammer this thing into place... Into the mounting space AND to align the mount bolt holes. My only complaint so far is installation definitely scratched the finish not that you'll be able to tell unless you want to revert back to the original iron sights.

Never even got a chance to use it. Sold my AK before I even had a chance to install it but I'm sure it would've worked well if I had kept the gun. 👍

Solid American mount, cheap chinese mounting screws..
Just to be clear, this IS the Strike Industries rail. The rail itself is of nice quality. Nice and solid. But the mounting screws are worthless. Came loose within 2 mags after an initial 10-15 rounds to sight in. Once the wobble started, I attempted to tighten everything back up. That's when the main mounting screw began to strip, along with the 3 top screws. I've encountered many products I love, that have been ruined by the cheap hex screws that come with them. For $30 though, I'd say give it a try and you may luck out. I'm in the process of a refund, though.Update: This review is being posted about 24 hours after the one above. After a frustrating session of removing this mount, I discovered the problem causing the wobble. The screw itself actually broke in two, INSIDE the threads of this mount, leaving me no choice but to break the screw off with a hammer and chisel, causing unavoidable damage to my rear sight mount, because the screw was so deep inside the threads. Thus another example of the cheap mounting materials provided along with what seems like a decent, solid rail. I would recommend not using the screws provided and picking up a small bolt/lug nut combo for a more reliable attachment to your rifle. I have done this with ALL of the Bushnell red dots I have purchased, after having the same issue with cheap screws simply breaking in half from the tightening process.

This mount will work fine as soon as i find a bolt that is a little longer to utilize the screw. Put on an RH10 and the mount bolt is just too short. Locktight is always a must any gun guy would know this. It is solid and i believe will not move once properly secured. Cleans up the gun nicely without having tge big side rail attached which in my opinion is sort detracts from the rifle.

This was a conversion for my RPK to a rail to use optics on. Getting the old one off requires some technique (consult YouTube) and this new one did require a bit of filing down to fit inside the sight post mount.

product substituted with another
I purchased one in may.. it fit mak90 perfectly.....purchased another in aug...they substituted a different rail that did not fit....it cost me $12 to mail it back !! want the mak90 rail but afraid to order again, because they have same questionable descriptions...the first rail I got was different than strike...the second rail ,was like the strike...only .had 0ne inch elevation adj. ( UP ) left on my PA red dot....better than iron sites...just aim high farther out ,..
