Picky Dachshund Finally Ate It
Edit: The review below is about the hamburger, rice, sweet potato. I also just bought the chicken and rice one and it's a hands down winner for my picky boy. He gobbles it up right away. I guess he likes chicken more than hamburger! Both still five stars. My 5yo dachshund had a round of Giardia and I was making bland diet food. I thought this freeze dried food was expensive but I wanted to try it (1.) for the current stomach situation and (2.) because it's freeze dried- to keep on hand for emergencies. The key is extra water. The directions suggest 2c when mixing but my picky, bougie boy doesn't like thick oatmeal like food. He also doesn't always like to eat when served. I figured out if I added more water when I made his meal, so make it more thick soup, he would eat it. Also once you refrigerate it, it becomes super thick so I imagine everyone would need to add some water when re-heating. The extra water helps with hydration anyway, so that's good. He's been eating this for 1.5 days and finally had a nice log. Could be because he's just getting better, could be because the diet helped. Will definitely keep on hand in pantry when needed in a pinch.

Diarrhea be gone!
My Lilly Belle has had digestive issues since she was a baby. Finally got the diagnosis of IBS. She can only handle foods with limited ingredients and even with carefully planned meals, she has bouts of diarrhea and upset tummy. Under the Weather has really helped with her belly issues! We keep it in meal rotation so she gets Under the Weather 2 to 3 times a week. She loves all of the varieties aside from anything with Pumpkin...she hates Pumpkin! I mix the chicken and rice with the oatmeal to thicken it up a bit. I love that it also helps keep Lilly hydrated, not only during the upset tummy times but also during the Winter months when she tends to drink less water. Thank you Under the Weather! I do have one suggestion, it would be great if we could buy the freeze dried chicken or hamburger meat without the rice. I find that the meaty chunks are great alternatives for training treats, especially for sensitive tummies.

Great to keep on hand for emergencies!
I keep this in my cupboard for rare instances when my dog has diarrhea. This is shelf stable, and easy to mix in a time of need. One pack provides enough food for my 50 lb. dog to get through a few days of digestive issues, which typically start to improve within a day of starting this food. I imagine this has saved many trips to vet, and saves me a ton of time I'd otherwise spend trying to cook up rice and chicken for my dog (plus the fact that I would likely have to go to the store to get the ingredients). Order this now, and keep it on hand for when you need it - you won't be sorry!

Right away my dog took some after not eating for 5 days
I have been desperate to try to save my dogs life. He got a mystery illness and stopped eating for five days and was throwing up liquids and it was just a mess right after I made this for him he started eating he didn’t like the rice out of it, but he liked the chicken. I wish there was more chicken in it, but I just think this company so much for being there and me ordering it to get him eating again

Great stuff!
My dog is a picky eater and hates rice. I bought this a few months ago for the next time he was sick. That day was yesterday. He got sick after breakfast so I gave him this for dinner. I couldn’t believe that he scarfed it down. He was less enthusiastic about it this morning, but still ate it. I will always keep it on hand from now on.

Works amazing!
I bought this because my dog had diarrhea for a day and a half. I was up every hour taking her out. I had already tried just boiling some chicken and giving that with rice...which didn't really work. I found a review for this online and decided to try it.It comes in a small bag and you put it in a bowl with hot water and let it sit covered for 10 mins. It honestly looks like Spanish rice when done. LolThis worked like a charm! After only one serving, Georgia was back to normal. I couldn't believe how ell it worked. Everyone should keep a bag of this on their shelf for times like this.

Good for loss of appetite
After starting chemo a few days ago, we've been struggling to get our girl to eat anything, but she loved this! She wasn't interested in the hamburger recipe, but she's cleaned the bowl every time I've made the chicken. So grateful to find something she'll eat until her appetite comes back :)

Just make rice and boil chicken
My dog was having diarrhea and vomiting. I was already doing chicken and rice but wanted the electrolytes so decided to try this out. Too expensive for the amount it contains. Just make plain rice and continue to boil the chicken. If anything, just buy electrolytes separately.
