Teeny Tiny Spice Co of Vermont Organic Penang Curry, 2.8 Oz

I first discovered the Teeny Tiny Spice products when I was visiting Vermont, and I am thrilled that Amazon is carrying their products. These are not your ordinary spices! The Penang Curry is not hot, and it is not like the jars of curry powder we are used to seeing. It is more of an herb blend (organic) with very complex flavors. The spices are fresh, and I don't believe there is any salt added to this blend. There are two recipes right on the can, and the website has many recipes using their spice mixtures. I highly recommend using this for the chicken satay recipe. A little spice mixture goes a long way. These mixtures make excellent gifts for the foodies in your life. So long to boring chicken and pork!

I love the Teeny Tiny Spice Co. and this is no exception. My family is trying to eat as clean as possible, which can get a bit boring at times. These spices really make a dish delicious and make you want to make it again and again. Love them!

The Penang curry made by this company used to be very flavorful and very mild, but the company clearly changed the recipe and now it's much less aromatic than before and also much hotter. Previously it had a 1 chili rating, but now the level of hotness is about two chilis even though on the jar the company still shows it as 1 chili. I don't think I will buy this again. I will stick with the British curry from this company.I bought three cans of this curry and one factory sealed can that I opened today is only 1/4 full. Either it's a very bad quality control issue or someone is skimming the stuff. Unfortunately I found out about the almost empty can only months after I bought it, so no recourse.

Wonderful taste but hot! I couldn't add enough coconut milk to dilute the heat here. It does say medium on the description and I have ordered other spice products from the Teeny Tiny Spice Co. and I have found the description to be spot on. Not sure what happened here.

The originator and the best of the regional spice mixture producers. And the tins they come in are great! You want to use up the spice and order more just to get the tins to store teeny tiny things that get lost in. Company started in rural Vermont, where all the good wild things grow.

I have been buying Teeny Tiny spices for years. They are my favorite spices & I love all of the recipes that are included on the can. My favorite is British Curry spices with British Curry Chicken being my favorite recipe!

We love the teeny tiny spice company! The owners are lovely and the spices are AMAZING.

I just don't care for the flavor of this one. I was thinking of a Thai Penang Curry when I bought it. It is definite not the Thai one. But it is still a good spice. I am keeping it for a more indian dishes.
