Wow! I'm impressed!! The installation took about 20 minutes (I'm also expert level computer tech). The fans come with a small screwdriver and a special tool to separate things without breaking them. I didn't need either tool, but they're nice to have in case you do. The fans work amazingly!!! They're so quiet and they're basically the same OEM china parts that came with my computer to begin with. (The previous owner didn't know how to take care of their PC and sold it for cheap because the fans were loud (easy replacement with these!) and the Windows software needed an update. Lol. ) Before buying, I was very tempted to blow compressed air into it to just clean and use the same loud fans but decided why risk it, my computer treats me well and this is a really good price, so why not? Turns out it was a supremely great investment. 5 stars for now, as it is only day one but so far everything looks beautiful. My old fans worked still but got very loud under stress and my computer would get really hot. I took the fans off and man were they gross. Glad to have these guys to help out! The fans come in box and wrapped in plastic bubbles as to not damage the very delicate fan. I ordered other (2)fans from another seller on here and #1 never got to me and #2 finally got here 3 days after schedule date, and without any kind of protection, just an envelope... BTW: An added bonus is that these fans run faster (used to cap at ~4000rpm now hitting ~5600+rpm) since they're brand new and nice and clean! IDK if this is because the motor is better or the blades are clear to move... But still very awesome! Anyway. 5 stars!

Pictured is the old one I’ll clean and save as a back up. Also shown are the little tools that come with the new one. Pry tool is helpful to remove back cover if you don’t have one. Pry then push down around the parts that feel stuck. They are just plastic tabs. Simple install and straightforward. Started it, listened to back, humming quietly. ✅ Old one was getting on my nerves as it would kick on and vibrate/rattle when things heated up. Did the power saving hack, but that slowed things down. Anyway. Blah blah inexpensive easy fix for a budget laptop. Buy it if you need a new fan. 💯

The fan to my laptop crapped the bed. I ordered this one hoping it would fix the problem and save me from having to invest in a new laptop. This fan not only fixed the problem but works a whole lot quieter than the OEM fan.

I bought this for my Acer a515-54 laptop. Apparently some models of that laptop have a loud, grinding fan, and mine was one of those. So I got this fan to replace it. This one is so much quieter, it's great! It comes with a couple tools that I thought were mostly useless - the screwdriver was a bit small and I had a better one, and the prying tool was made of a cheap plastic and started falling apart before it could pry the laptop case open. But for $10, I don't really expect decent tools, and the fan itself was so much better than my original!

Lasted less than 2 years.

After installing this I've had zero issues so far. I wish the fan was metal instead of plastic (just my preference) but overall zero complaints.

Got it for Acer A515-44. The other one was rattling (after I dropped the laptop...). Installed in 3 minutes, perfectly smooth. Good price, quick fix.

It's smaller than OEM but it's one of the only fans that fit the orientation and pins of my laptop. As such, it's quiet and doesn't quite spin at the same RPMs as the original fans but temps haven't been drastically affected.

Mismo ventilador que el original, excepto aspas de plástico y no metálicas. La base que atornilla con el difusor de cobre no es la misma pero no afecta el funcionamiento, se puede adaptar. Llegó el día prometido

My laptop fan started making a knocking sound, thankfully this product was selling at a good deal and was the exact same part as the one in my laptop

Was expecting the worst but it actually fits and it works perfectly. My laptop is a 515-53 it's not listed here but for you guys with the same brand looking go ahead and buy this. It's very quiet except at times when my laptop is charging (it doesn't bother me at all, very quiet fan noises). This just saved me 160 bux plus tax at a computer repair shop lol.

Very happy with this item. It was extremely easy to install in the Acer Aspire 5. Looks like good quality, and runs silently. It even came with a small screwdriver and pry tool!
