I like how easy these make it to bring power from solar panels into a shed or garage (I've done both). The #10 AWG can handle up to 30A, so 600 Watts worth of panels can enter the building in one place. Plus, if you need to disconnect the solar array for maintenance of the system, you just pull one plug and they are out. They are also good for plug-and-play connecting of other system components. For example, I built a little bare-bones solar generator to power 12V drip irrigation pumps in my garden. The pump(s) have a waterproof connection to the power source. You can use Y-adapters or extra ports on the generator to run multiple pumps if that's more convenient.

Picked these up for our Travel Trailer portable 200 WATT Solar briefcase to be able to move it around as the sun moves during the day while operating the solar panel. The Connectors are good, sturdy, weatherproof as far as I can tell. Haven't had any problems at all. They seem to transmit power just fine as the solar panel charges our 3 LiFePo batts during the day. No complaints so far.

This is a heavy gauge and solid connector! I used two of these to power the trickle charger while towing my Jeep behind my RV. I was easy to install with some minor drilling and I was able to mount it on my front grill. Installed the second one on the rear of my RV and connected it to the house battery. About an hour to complete the entire job from wiring to battery and securing. Highly recommend this to any RVer looking to keep the battery charged on towed vehicles using tow bars and auxiliary braking systems powered of towed vehicle batteries. (IE Brake Buddy Systems)

Works well for my remote solar panel for locating in sun at camp sites. Polarity seems to be correct. My solar cable to SAE is CORRECT! As per Rich Solar. CERRXIAN SAE socket port is not correct .

Living in an apartment the solar power system needs to be able to moved around. This connector allows for that to happen while using the system else where in the apartment complex. This part was installed during a redesign project of my solar power station. As power is unknown when it will go out and for how long remains unknown.

Very nice SAE connection to charge my off grid devices via solar. Love everything about it. Installed very easily and the wire coating quality is thick.

I have this wired with a 30a breaker as an inverter power supply “outlet”. Installed easily with included hardware. Not the most flexible wire/housing, but it works.As noted in other reviews, be cognizant of the male/female (positive/negative) relationship for your application. I chose to wire then black to positive and red to negative to “correct” the polarity of the plug.I’ve pulled 150 watts through it with no issues or hear.

These are nice sockets; just drill a round hole, attach it with the screws provided, and you're done.

heavy duty wire coming out of this unit overkill for what its use is for.. Used this for adding a outside connection for my solar panel on my travel trailer worked well. one thing to watch for is some solar panel manufacturers that you purchase out of a box store the positive side of the plug does not match the hot side of the wire so you have to reverse your wires.. I had reported this to the manufacturer of my solar panel and was told i could not report a safety issue..LOL

I've seen these adaptors in RV stores for a few dollars less but there is no comparison in quality. This adaptor has thick material and the tinned wires are truly 10 AWG. Very good deal.
