Bought it as a gift, here is the feedback I got: This product offers a great balance between firm control and cleanliness. It holds simple styles in place without feeling oily, plastic, or flaking in an unsightly manner. Since trying this product, I used one other clean gel product in a pinch. I was dissatisfied and purchased this product again before finishing the substitute. I am completely satisfied with this hair gel and do not plan on trying anything else to meet my styling needs.

I love how this gel is not greasy, has a fresh citrus scent and is water based. It also contains organic and natural ingredients/oils and is good for your scalp. It does not provide a real stiff hold, if that’s your desire. However, I call this the utility of gels as you can use this everyday. And I’ve noticed that my hair stairs in tact when it’s hot and humid. Some complained about flakes and other issues. Everyone’s hair and scalp is different, but I did notice a huge difference (one I never noticed before) when I bought the MGA shampoo and conditioner. I do agree that healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp. My hair is no longer dry and thirsty so take some advice and analyze what you wash and condition your hair with too, not just the styling products. I’m going to order the largest bottle they make for this gel as it’s a better value. Again, my hair is wavy, curly and thick, so if this worked for me, it should be ok for you. It’s not too keen on being shiny, so, you may have to use a spritz or hairspray for more shine, but I’m a guy and not too worried about that. I find myself using a moderate amount of gel each time I use it so don’t be surprised if this goes quick as it’s water based. The seller also has a website and you can purchase directly if you desire. I tried the smoothing balm the seller makes and it was great too, but this one works better for me and has a slightly firmer hold.

I enjoy this product but it seems to wear off. Initially the hold is nice but as the day goes on it seems to fade. I work 12 hour shifts and if I use this alone my naturally curly hair seems to have lost it's hold. I normally mix this with their Matte Paste to create a hold that works for me. If I apply the products separate I get flakes, but if i mix them before applying to my hair I do not get flakes. This has a light herbal smell that I enjoy. I enjoy the non toxic ingredients.

Finally a PVP-free that actually works well. Can no longer justify using the synthetic polymer based gels that wash out of your hair and accumulates in our environment. Truly don't need much and holds perfectly. Probably about the same $ per application as the less expensive synthetic stuff that requires more for the same hold.

This is a strong hold hair gel. They have light hold which is called "Styling gel". This one called "Sculpting gel" is really allowing you to sculpt the hair. Is great for shorter hair or if you want to create sleak styles on long hair. This gel has fresh citrus scent. It really holds hair in place all day. Very important-no dry flakes! It is concentrated, you don't need much. Safe and healthy ingredients, mostly organic and wildcrafted. No nasties like PVP or silicones. It is vegan, gluten free, cruelty free, made in USA.

I bought this because gel usually works well on thin fine hair but this produce does not. It smelled good but weighed my hair down now matter how little I used,. And...using too little defeats the purpose of having your hair stay in place. I'd recommend this product only for those lucky enough to have lots of hair.

I keep coming back to this gel. It suits my fine, curly hair so well! It's light but perfectly sets my curls as my hair dries. Just have to scrunch out my hair after it's dry and all is well. (It does dry crunchy but after scrunching, your hair is left soft but styled as you wanted it.) The smell is slightly medicinal but it leaves completely after your hair is dry.

I wanted something clean and free of alcohol, sulfates, etc. and this worked out great. Very strong hold; a little goes a long way. It replaced my Aveda Confixor that I had used for YEARS. Highly recommended!
