I never write product reviews but this JAVEX 16-gauge speaker wire is so good that I feel compelled to mention it. Having just acquired a new pair of Klipsch bookshelf monitors, I was prepared to use the spool of speaker wire I already had on hand. Stripping the protective coating (using a quality wirestripper, it should be noted) without also removing some (or even a lot) of the small strands of wire proved to be quite frustrating. I decided that it might be the wire, and not me or the stripping tool, that was the problem and so I decided to spend a bit more money on a quality wire. What a difference! The JAVEX wire is incredibly easy (flexible/maneuverable) to work with and the thick protective coating strips like a charm--with none of the wire getting pulled off in the process. Once installed, the sound quality is excellent. The extra dollars were well worth it. I'm completely sold on this product.

I am am electronics repair hobbyist and have found this wire to be my go-to wire as 16ga wire is ideal for most vintage audio gear (larger sizes will often not fit). Additionally, the materials in this wire are very high quality. OFC and AWG wire is far superior to CCA wire. True to size.

Speaking as an electronics tech, what I like about this cable is its overall quality, especially the plastic insulation. It is very soft-almost like silicone, yet tougher, and is the standard "size" of speaker wires that has been in use for decades. The copper wire is top quality, and the strand count is well chosen, so the cable is very flexible. It looks like this cable should not stiffen up with age or cold temps like the common cheap speaker wire found everywhere. Great wire for use where flexibility and durability is needed. In my opinion, it is worth the price.

This was used for internal wiring of a speaker switching matrix, but would be good for short speaker runs too. Choose a heavier gauge for longer runs. Handles very well with a fairly soft thick jacket making preparation and stripping easy and clean. Good to have colors that aren't red & black to differentiate a different circuit. If I wanted to nitpick I could say that the darker conductor could be even darker to determine polarity more easily, but that really would be trying very hard to find a fault that doesn't really exist. Highly Recommended.

Quality wire for speaker installation. Pure stranded copper with soft and pliable insulation. Wire is heavy in longer lengths; suggest using strain relief if connecting smaller speakers on tall cabinets. Bonded blue/blue-black conductors are difficult to differentiate without proper lighting. Red and black would be a better choice for American consumers.

I recently bought a Klipsch 2.1 Heritage speaker set with a subwoofer. The speaker wires were a little short and 22-Gauge. I purchased a 50ft spool of Javex 16-Gauge Speaker Wire. The order was delivered in 1 day! The copper wires are of much better quality compared to the aluminum wires supplied with the speakers. And I can cut whatever length I need. The blue and black color combo is really beautiful and subtle. I have the blue wire connected to the red ports and the black wire to the white ports. I have the subwoofer connected to a WiiM Mini via Aux. I am able to play Amazon Music Ultra HD at 192 khz / 24 bit! I will order these again if needed.

I used this product to rewire an older model chevy truck audio system. Worked great. Used wire strippers to expose the wires and wire crimpers for a cleaner install. Strong while still flexible to move through obstacles. Easy to use. Liked the color of wire protector. Price was affordable. Owner of vehicle enjoyed how it turned out loved the sound. I will be needing more wire later on in the future for more work. Will also be looking 0, 4, and ,8 guage ofc wire to test out. Hope to see what else javex has to offer. If good i will definitely stick with them for all my audio needs.

Cable was very malleable and easy to use. Very high price to performance ratio.

Having been a hi-fi need all my life and previously spending more money on interconnects and speaker cable than most people pay for a stereo, I was surprised how good this cable was. Having finally settled down and curbed my over exuberance on hi-fi over the years, I needed some cable for my new home to go with my 25 year old floorstanding speakers and Arcam amp as I needed a much longer run for the set up. My old cable cost me £20 a metre and so was not expecting much from this cable. How wrong I was. The cable is neat, easily identifying polarity with colouring of each and writing on 1. The thickness compared to my old speaker cable made it much easier to handle and add my banana plugs. Good choice of lengths of cable reels as well. Once installed, I fired up my system and was stunned. I was not expecting this cable to sound this good. Of course this is totally subjective and others might not feel the same, but at this price I am impressed. Really good value for money and quality cable.
