Do not buy this pan. Very disappointed.
(I have had to re review my previous 5 star rating)I’ve recently moved to the USA and I was pleased to find Anlon here is so much less expensive. This would retail for $150 or more in Australia.I loved this large pan. I had this same pan in Australia and it was my absolute favorite ‘go to pan.’ Nice and big with high sides and great non stick. so I was so happy to have found it here on Amazon.I was first happy but my new pan warped under normal heat conditions!!The old Anlon one I had was perfect and I was able to use it for every different type of dish including seared salmon steaks and stir fry veg. I used this new pan on a standard ceramic cook top but it didn’t tolerate even a few minutes of medium high heat, you could not even brown meat or pan sear fish! What a joke! No true chef or good cook will be satisfied with this sub standard material used. The exterior coating is fabulous and very non stick however the warping is a complete deal breaker and renders the pan useless and inappropriate for anyone who wants to cook properly. I’m so disappointed as I have been a huge fan of my previous Anlon pans. I even brought a set for some friends as a wedding gift. I hope the ones they received weren’t as hopeless as the one I purchased on Amazon. I was first thinking it could be a fake product but Anlon replaces it for me under warranty and the new one did the same thing first time I used it not even at the highest heat, just on the stoves medium heat setting. Very disappointing!

Holding up great!
My husband is a pain about his frying pans. He is really rough on them. We go through A LOT of pans. I bought these in February- it is now April - two months of daily use, and they still look good. I read somewhere along the way, “don’t use detergent on good fry pans”, just wash in plain water or just wipe clean. That seems to really work. It helps maintain the non -stick.

Perfect size pan for feeding my family of 6!
Probably the biggest problem I had when trying to figure out what size pan I needed was trying to make sense of the measurements the manufacturers give. 10"? 12"? 14"? What does that mean? Did they measure across the actual SURFACE of the pan or across the top from edge to edge? I was really confused. So I'm going to tell you about THIS pan, and what I found. The actual cooking surface of this pan (the bottom of it) measures 12" across. It measures 14" from edge to edge, across the top. The top of the pan is wider than the base, so that's where the 14" measurement comes from. I double or triple every recipe I make (2 boxes of hamburger helper, 2 boxes of rice-a-roni) and this pan EASILY accommodates these amounts. For a pan of this size, I found it very manageable. Some pans feel like lead weights and are a pain to use because they're so heavy. This one isn't and I really like that.Even better than that is the clean up. This pan is an absolute DREAM! Baked on, crusted on messes come right off with a wet cloth. Some things I can wipe off with a paper towel! I've used this pan hundreds of times and I can't imagine EVER having to soak this thing EVER! I seriously cannot stress enough how easy it is to clean. Now for the downside: THIS PAN IS HUGE!! It's a love/hate relationship. I love it BECAUSE it's big, but storing this beast has proven to be somewhat problematic. It is literally too big for any cupboard I have. When I was initially researching pans I was trying to find a pan without the super long handle. This pan does have the long handle and that's why it won't fit anywhere. I do think it helps while cooking though, but sometimes I really wish it wasn't there. I just keep it on the stove because that's the only place it fits.I've been using this pan for almost a year and it looks as good today as the day I bought it. The trick is to always wipe off grease from the outside of the pan before you use it again so it doesn't stain. The outside is vulnerable to staining if you don't do this. Also, it says it's dishwasher safe but once you put your pots and pans in the dishwasher we all know they never look the same. If you want to keep this pan looking nice, do not put it in the dishwasher! My only regret is that this pan didn't come with a lid. Since I was already confused about size, I wasn't sure what size lid would fit it. I ordered a 14" lid, and it fit perfectly. Hope this review helps those of you that had the same question I had. Overall, the cooking capacity and ease of cleaning outweigh any problems I may have with storing this pan. It's really a wonderful pan! I absolutely depend on the reviews of others before I spend my hard earned money. Hope this review helps!

Pretty much what several others wrote
Pretty much what several others wrote; both pans lighter weight and just didn't feel anything like the quality of the 10-inch skillet (ordered singly). I actually called Anolon before I made the purchase and referred to the negative comments. The customer service woman was aware and stated that the interior surface was the same, but the outside was made of a light-weight material. She assured me the quality was the same, however upon receiving these pans, I do not agree. Didn't even seem like Anolon! Oh, and the 12-inch pan is actually more like 13-inches and didn't seem to be round, like it was warped some.

Deceptive description
These are nice pans, but I gave only 3 stars because they are 10” and 12” in diameter at the tops, but the bottom of the 12” is only 8 3/4" in diameter. So the sides on each taper out to the description, but the cooking surfaces are 3 1/4" smaller! That was disappointing!

Non-stick didn't last any longer than the cheaper pans
Worked well for 2 years (with approx 1-2 uses per week) then eggs began to stick really bad. Per the directions, I never used cooking spray, never heated it above a medium setting, always used a plastic spatula, and always hand washed the pan. The pan is said to have a lifetime warranty against manufacturer's defects. I called Anolon customer service and they want me to ship the pan to them at my expense for them to evaluate it and see if a manufacturer's defect caused the non-stick to quit working.

12" doesn't even come close to that for cooking surface!
Extremely disappointed in these pans. After reading the answers to questions about the actual cooking size I thought I was getting a substantial cooking surface. Questions answered For the 12" pan stated 10". I don't know what kind of measuring device they used. ONLY 9"! Really sucks.

Not recommended for glass stove tops
I chose this pan because I was hoping it would have a flat bottom and even heat distribution. After using it 3 times I realize the bottom is not flat on my glass stovetop. It rocks quite a bit making the heat distribution not very even. I am disappointed and would not recommend for glass stove tops.

Manufacture did not back damaged product
I spoke with the manufacter to inform them I received my two skillet and the packaging had a rough cardboard ring between the two pans and it was bound with a shrink wrap tightly. This casued the cardboard to rub and damagethe surface of the skillet. They said they would send new one. Then about 2 weeks later, I get an email fromthe Canadian office and said I would have to file a claim with them. They never answered their phones and provided a short window to refile. FELT LIKE A HUGE SCAM TO ME. I left messages but no reply. These are expensive and should be backed as promised.

Simply amazing (edited)
This is my third Anolon purchase. Two pots and now this frying pan. Quality as usual and you can use it on a glasstop stove, which is what I have. I am very happy with these products. Nothing sticks and I mean NOTHING. The instructions say do not use cooking spray and I am not going to do that. A bit of butter or olive olive oil. That's it and the food flies out of the pan. Amazing. The shipping was fast as well. Thanks!!Edit: Well, the pan looks like it was hit on one side. A small indentation but I only noticed it the other day. There is no markings so I assume it was there when made and quality control missed it. I shall keep it though..it's a good pan.

This is a top quality non-stick fry pan
I have other Anolon Advanced cooking pots and pans and they do hold up well.I like that both the inside and out side are non stick which makes for easy cleaning.Anolon Accolade may be just a bit better, they have a thicker build but I would saythey will wear about the same over time, I have both. These are a good buy on Amazon.

warped within a few months
I read a ton of positive reviews chefs. These pan reviews are why I don't trust reviews any longer. both bans will not sit flat on my element and the handles are so heavy they have to be positioned just right or i prop[ a salt shaker underneath to stabilize. I hate these pans! Don't waste your money.

Great non-stick pan, but exterior colour odd choice.
This pan is great. Really non-stick. Washes clean in a snap with a bit of soap and nylon scrubbie. It says metal utensils can be used but I won't try that. Needs a few drops of oil (all pans do - even the non-stick) and food slides around. This pan feels solid and hefty, but is not heavy. I have arthritis but I can manage this easily. The rubbery handle makes holding the pan feel secure, not a slippery cheap plastic handle. No more scrubbing stuck on foods in pans that claim to be non-stick. Wasted so much money buying those. Happy with this pan's performance. If I can ask the manufacturer one request, it would be offer in a different colour. Bronze exterior is kind of odd colour choice.
