Promises: 70% delivered
Pros:1. Somewhat Portable2. Good picture quality and color accuracy.3. In built Speakers are adequate. Don’t always require an extra speaker setup.Cons:1. Brightness is not enough to watch in a day. You need to have thick curtains covering the windows to make it dark as night. 200 lumens don’t cut it.2. Inbuilt Android 7.1 system is outdated almost unusable as some apps don’t fully work with the provided remote. One need to get android boxes/sticks like MI Stick, spending more and adding complexity like carrying extra remote, HDMI, Charging cables and power extension box, taking away some of the portability it has promised.3. Lack of Auto horizontal keystone correction. I though it’s not that big of a deal before buying but, it’s inconvenient at times to get that perfect level especially when using it outside. If not put in a center of your intended projection space, the picture skews a bit. Also hindering the hassle-freeness. 4. Price is high. Had to pay 50K Rupees for sub-par functionality is a bit let down on the overall satisfaction.Bottom line:You can actually enjoy watching on 100”+ screen with your family and friends, only if you willing to compromise on some stuff.

Way Overpriced
Firstly way overpriced in India, Not able play Netflix in HD thats a drawback(Plays only upto 480p), Youtube is pretty bad, not like our regular youtube on laptop (Searched Telugu movies not a single movie popped up). Have to buy Amazon Firestick another 4k or 5k to be burned to play netflix, youtube..,etc. Downloaded some movies and played through usb stick works great. Bought it for bedroom to replace laptop, tv but there is no zoom function for projector to minimize the screen to fit to wall.., this projector don't serve the purpose. When I got the package projector came with few scratches on lens cover don't know if it used or brand new and one more thing to add this projector does not fit regular tripods you need to buy Anker tripod designed for this projector which costs abt 10k shipped to India or you need to modify with rubber seals at the bottom to use with regular tripods ..., Best alternative Xgimi CC Aurora, Xgimi Mogo Pro or the philips one which is coming out soon. Cheers!!!

Keeps Powering Off
The only and the biggest issue with this product is getting it on. The projector keeps powering off without a reason, despite being fully charged or being connected to a power source. Updated the software and reset it back to its origin settings too. But nothing helps. And now, as the return window was set to 31 March 2020 and the cursed COVID 19 pandemic imposed a lockdown all over, I am not able to return it either.

Great all in one smart projector solution!
What a great little machine! Real value for the money! We’ve been running Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube off of it outdoors as well as trying out TV stations you can setup on the Google Playstore. You need Anker to help you load the Playstore but service is excellent over the phone! The storage feature is great in case you don’t trust your wifi outdoors and want to download Netflix or Amazon movies. Sound is ok but we just connect a Bose portable speaker through the Audio Out for a bit more sound. We’ve been unable to setup Disney + through the Playstore and also had no success sideloading APK files so for now we’ll just connect a laptop via HDMI if we want Disney +.The apple and Android casting features are great for seeing your own pics/videos from your phone !Brightness at 300 lumens is more than enough at sundown and we’ve run 80 and 110+ inch screens!

Great portable 720HD projector, autofocus, most popular apps and sound built-in, wifi capable, HDMI
Some background - I'm taking a week long trip with 3 kids (all 7 and under) and wanted a convenient option to keep them occupied during downtime. Typically I take a Chromecast and portable Wifi hotspot to stream video from apps on my phone. Somewhat of a pain to plug into a TV and use my phone to cast everything after connecting everything to the Wifi hotspot. Also, means my kids are laying/sitting on the bed to watch their shows. After some research I landed on the following requirements: portable, built-in sound, painless setup, Android OS, HDMI input, and decent brightness/resolution (HD preferred). I almost pulled the trigger on the Nebula Capsule when there was a $79 discount but was hung up on the lack of HD and low lumens. Fortunately the Mars 2 became available before my trip. Only 1 review at the time, but I pulled the trigger. Because this is my first projector purchase, I can't compare & contrast to others, but here's my current perspective on the Mars 2 after a week of usage:Resolution - it's 720HD. Clarity/sharpness is great (see autofocus). I don't miss the 1080 resolution (doubtful you will either). The size on the wall more than makes up for it. That said, don't watch SD video on a 12' projection - you will be disappointed. My 75'' TV has been sitting idle for the past week. A 12' screen is hard to beat for a movie experience. I listen through a bluetooth headset versus my 5.1 setup and but its still worth it. I'm contemplating buying a pull down screen in front of my TV and hooking it up to my 5.1 setup. Oh it also has auto focus - you shift the Mars 2 a little bit, it will automatically refocus. Pretty awesome. I read the other Nebula models were manual focus. I can imagine that would be annoying. Auto focus is a big deal. 300 lumens is bright enough for my usage. No interest in trying to watch movies/shows on it during the day. I would use my TV to do that if I ever had the time.Sound - it's built in! That's a big deal for me. Good enough speakers for the kids and their shows. Don't expect anything crazy - doesn't come close to my 5.1 setup, but it's way more portable. It has two 10W speakers. An Alexa Echo has a single 15W speaker so that's a reference. That said, I connect my Klipsch headset over bluetooth and it sounds good enough for watching most movies in stereo plus I don't disturb a sleeping house.Interface/Remote - it has all the major apps you would need (Netflix, Plex, Kodi, Amazon Prime, VLC) and it's WiFi capable. I don't have a need for anything else. Remote works just fine although it's IR based as long as you use it in the general vicinity of the Mars 2. I hooked up the Android app remote, but haven't had a need to use it. I like the confirmation sounds when moving the selection cursor around. Changing volume displays a ring overlay which depicts your sound level - basic, functional, simple = winInputs - have only tested the HDMI with a Chromecast dongle and it works fine. Does not support Chromecast protocol natively (whatever other reviewers may say) - it won't show up as an option to cast on your android phone or chrome browser.I suggest getting a tripod for it so you can level it at the right height if you are taking a trip with it. Has vertical keystone correction which works quite well with autofocus.I'm pretty happy with my purchase. It's a good mix of the right features for what I wanted to use it for.

great product
This projector is great! The default player is not great and doesn't support some video formats. To fix that, just install VLC media player from the app store and you can play ANYTHING.Now I watch videos only with the projector - the reflected light makes my eyes happy. I also love to move when I watch videos and watching from the wall is just a perfect solution for me.Highly recommended!
