I ordered all weather shoes in the right order but it was TIGHT, my husband’s too. The shoes gave me blisters over a trip to Korea and I had another trip to Alaska planned and I was determined to wear those shoes too. So I bought these and stretched out my shoes for jut a little under 24 hours. Firstly, this was VERY EASY TO USE. My husband doesn’t like reading instructions and it was very easy to tell him what to do. I think the shape was almost perfect for what I needed. I could’ve used better stretching on the tongue part of my shoe, but that’s something I can probably fix by moving the small piece over. I may have over stretched my shoes initially since it’s so easy to adjust but considering my shoes shrank some in the week I used it, I’m glad the adjustment capability is vast. My husband ended up using this too even though it’s technically not his shoe size and it worked just fine.

I have hammer toes on the left foot and could not wear my left Nike shoe without causing discomfort to the problem toes. I used these shoe stretchers, and NOW I do not have to toss the shoes. I stretched the left Nike as the instructions said and 48 hours later, the 'toe box' of the shoe is just wide enough not to cause any more pain. I wore them to the gym without any problems. Great product. The stretcher is sturdy—not in any way flimsy. They worked well on my Nikes, I now have them stretching a black pair. The stretchers are opening numerous possibilities to wear shoes I was about to get rid of, but I will see what these stretchers can to to make my shoes wearable, because now shoe shape allows me to wear my shoes without any discomfort. I also intend to try them to stretch the length of a couple pairs of shoes. These stretchers have saved me a LOT of money!!!Bottom line, these stretchers DO EXACTLY WHAT IS PROMISED!!!!

This should be fine for the average foot. It is not extremely sturdy, but with some adaptation I have been able to get two pair of shoes that were too tight to be bearable. You see, the ad clearly states up to size 12 1/2 Mens, but my feet are 15 EEEE! I couldn't find anything for my size foot. A little extra spacer at the heel then it can extend farther towards the toe, and extra spacers for the width as well. One brand was not built for how thick my feet are. I turned the device 90 degrees and it helped quite a bit. Not perfect, but when you have a few pair of shoes that you bought online that just don't fit, then this was well worth the purchase price. Just don't over stress it. Take your time and adjust a little then let it stay at that point then another half to full twist, paying attention to the feel and how the shoe is handling the stretch.

They work really well. I have a pair of walking shoes, made by a reputable company. I could fit my feet iinside of the shoes, but they were so narrow, that it hurt to wear them. I used these stretchers for the recommended 24, hours, and now I can wear the shoes comfortably. A great product.

Didn’t take a picture because I’m at work, but I put these in my shoes and left them for a few days, and they feel so much better on my feet. I’m going to try them with another pair and throw a dry washcloth on top of them and use the blowdryer and see how that goes

I have the yellow version of these which cracked during use so I thought I would try the black colored ones. The way that the holes are drilled for the bunion plugs means that the plugs don't lay flat on the outside surface of the stretcher, which means that the plugs snap off because the stem that locates it in the hole is put under too much side load. Also, I took mine apart and was able to compare the tightening mechanism to the older, yellow colored stretchers that I have. In the black version the part that the tightening rod threads into is a piece of flat bar, which is located in a round hole and this results in a lot of stress because you have a sharp corner contacting the inner suface of a cylindrical hole. In the yellow version of this stretcher the tightening rod threads into a piece of round bar, which means the tension load is much better distributed on the plastic body of the stretcher. I would be returning these if I didn't have the threaded tensioning mechanism from the pair that broke. I just switched the old mechanism with the one in the newer stretcher. I also filed out the bunion plug holes so that the plugs lay flat on the outside surface of the stretcher. Don't buy these if you don't want to have to do some modifications in order to make them work reliably.

Easy to use, they fit in my shoes and do what it states. I never thought I'd need a shoe stretcher, but this item does work and has not broken yet. They are good quality and will adjusted to my size which, depending on the designer, can be from 9- 10 medium width. It wors with the width very well as not all shoes are actually medium width.
