Nature'S Recipe Grain Free Indoor With Hairball Control Salmon And Potato Recipe Dry Cat Food, 2-Pound

My cat refuses to eat it. She went 3 days without food. It does not appeal to her at all. She is used to eating dry food, and I have switched her brand before with no problem...not sure why she refuses to eat this, but it is of no use to me if she wont consume it.

On the other hand, my cats love this dry cat food. Had no problem at all getting them to accept it and it's so healthy for them. I purchased it for the hairball control, my long haired girl suffers from them quite badly, so I'm thrilled that she enjoys the Natures Recipe because I've tried everything else on the market. She hasn't had a bout since I started them on this grain free but it's a little too early to say that it truly works, but I'm hopeful...

Wow I didn't realize this was only a 2 lb bag. Total rip off!!

My cats have been eating Taste of the Wild for a while now, but I recently went too long before ordering a new bag from Amazon, and Amazon was out for a couple days. I ran to Petco to see if they carried that brand, but they did not. I purchased a small bag of this brand until their normal brand was back in stock. They didn't experience any stomach upset from the abrupt switch in foods, and seem to like the flavor well enough. After some comparison, I decided that Nature's Recipe is comparable in price to Taste of the Wild, but has a higher meat and meat meal content. I'm switching them to the hairball formula of this brand for a while to see if there are any improvements in their health.Don't get me wrong, Taste of the Wild is a quality food and it's leaps and bounds better than the food they were eating before (Whiskas), but slightly better ingredients and the option to pick up a bag in a brick and mortar store in a pinch gives this food a bit of an edge.
