Blenheim Bouquet Cologne by Penhaligon's 3.4 oz Eau De Toilette Spray For Men

Smell is not light, bit heavy. Beautifully designed bottle. My17 years old daughter and I share this. We both love it.

Blenheim Bouquet is another classic men's fragrance from Penhaligon's. It has pronounced citrus-soap-powder notes that dry down to a simple, fresh, clean scent that others comment favourably on. I usually alternate between this and Hammam Bouquet (another beguiling scent), although, in my opinion, Hammam Bouquet is more appropriate for cooler evenings whereas Blenheim Bouquet is a warm-weather fragrance. I have read reviews that compare this fragrance to Lemon Pledge or some other household product, although I do not see the comparison. Hammam Bouquet reminds me of November cocktail parties in London, whereas I associate Blenheim Bouquet with breezy summer days spent sailing off the New England coast.

Fragrance was not for me!!! I am a Creed Aventus fanatic. Thought I would venture out of my comfort zone and try another English fragrance company. The smell was not pleasant. It reminded me of a stale smelling barber shop from the 1970s.

Fragrance is pleasant. It is an exceptional addition to my collection.

Doesn't last hardly any time at all. You can certainly smell the lemons, but that's not a detractor. For sure a daytime scent; Penhaligon's offers much better, longer lasting scents for the evening. Will run through this bottle and likely not buy another, but glad I tried it. I prefer Sartorial by far for daytime.

Blenheim Bouquet - one of Winston Churchill's favorites!! It was named after his place of birth and was used by him for many, many years. It is well worth the price for the robust yet secure scent will ride with you all day long. Jump to the Penhaligon website and both read and listen to the description of Blenheim Bouquet, it's worth a few minutes of your time.

I ordered this cologne thru amazon after reading about it being a favorite cologne of the royalty of Great Brittain for some 50+ years. Part of my brain was thinking "it must smell really good then" and the other part was thinking "then why does no one sell it in America?" My husband was skeptical when I told him about my purchase. He was beside himself when I sprayed it on him. It smells exactly like Pledge. No "woodsy" and all "lemon." Since it was mailed to us from England I was really unsure if I could return it--so we donated it to the shelter. Now some homeless person, for a mere $70 of my money no less, (and Prince Charles) can smell like the dining room table.
