Dr. A's Habits of Health: The Path to Permanent Weight Control and Optimal Health

It’s alright but way too repetitive
While there’s good info in it, he gives no room for error and being human. Dr A also seems to be pretty fat phobic, I’m skipping over the weight loss emphasis here and focusing on eating a healthy diet regularly but I guess I have to learn for myself how to also be kind to myself when I fudge up, being the human I am.There is definitely important take away from this book. It could be cut in half of all the repetition was removed. The same charts appear over and over and over. And over.. repetition is annoying.Overall I don’t regret this buy. It can help

The Best Permanent Weight Management System!
Habits of Health 2.0 is by far the best weight management system that has been put together by Dr. Anderson. I tried the Optavia/Optimal Health program which is the companion to the book and it was a total success beyond my expectations. My labs at my recent annual physical confirmed the effectiveness of the program and impressed my Physician. The science behind this program is sound, well researched, and easy to follow. This is not a fad diet like so many out there today but a lifetime management system of your health and nutrition.

Some good some bad.
Low fat anything is no good. You need the fat for brain health. Some good stuff but the low fat is a turn off.

Linked to a diet program which is expensive
The book has lots of information, however it is linked to a diet program for which you buy prepackaged "fuelings" which you have to prepare. Not sure there is a point to the book if you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars a month for the program.
