I used this tool to check for propane leaks around some newly installed gas logs in the house. I've also used it around my propane grill to check for leaks. The tool is pretty simple to use and is accurate as far as I can tell. I've intentionally exposed it to an area with a little combustible gas and the tool definitely detects it. For me the tool gives me some peace of mind, especially after I work on anything in the house gas related, by allowing me to check areas for possible gas leaks.

Took a minute to get the batteries installed and then understanding that the unit has a warm up delay before testing. It really is a great instrument to keep around for your business and home. I will also be using on my camper to check go propane leaks, especially at the LP bottle connections. Highly recommend to have a tester available for testing.

This little detector works well. I have "tested" it around natural gas, propane, and gasoline. It detects ppm accordingly. The indicator light changing color as ppm's increase is also a nice feature. Instructions are not translated all that great, but operation is simple.

As far as I can tell it is working well. Customer service was great in speaking with. I tested the device inside where I had concerns around my fireplace, and did not detect anything, and to be sure it was reading, I tested the device against an actual gas leak (I unhooked a valve to know for sure it was getting natural gas to detect). I did get a reading there. Admittedly, I don't know enough about parts per million to know how accurate it is - but knowing that it detected when I knew it should detect is clear enough that it works well. I definitely would buy from this seller again.

I used this to verify my leak behind my gas stove. Natural gas has a strong smell, so it would probably be better for verifying smaller leaks. I have only tested on natural gas and not propane yet. When I do, I will update my review.

Will update the next time I forget to turn the gas off my stove, hopefully will never happen again! Didn't detect any leaks so far.

A few days ago, I was suspicious about the gas leak from the heater. And I was attracted by the design of this product. The detector was much more useful and portable than I expected. It's very sensitive and easy to read for home use. You just need to simply let the detector get close to the heater, the color of the light imply the situation of gas leaking immidiately.
