I used this in my average size garage as I'd be putting something in there and a couple of days later it was covered with cobwebs!I put it on a little table about 3 feet high, in the middle of the room and let it go. When I returned there wasn't any odour or after effects although I let it air out anyway.There were spiders that I saw whilst I was setting it off that were dead, but there were also spiders up high or in the corners of the room that were fine. I cleaned my garage and got rid of a few and there are definitely much less spiders (and cobwebs) in there now.If I were to do it again, I would buy 2 and start them higher up (e.g. top of a step ladder), one at 25% and 75% distance from a wall (so each cover half each). I think that coverage would be more effective.It's a border-line 3 or 4 as it did help, but certainly didn't clear them all out.UPDATE: A few months on and I'm not seeing any spiders and only an occasional cobweb. I think I'll probably end up doing an annual clear out with this to keep the population very low.

Great product

I got this product to use to eliminate a cluster fly problem we'd be having in our loft. The instructions make it clear you don't want to be in the room when it goes off but as we found (and it appears others have as well) the delivery system is really flawed.I clicked the the nozzle in place but, nothing!!! unless you hold the nozzle down nothing comes out.We managed to jerry rig it to work in the end and as a product it certainly killed the flies but I wouldn't buy again.

used in loft easy to use

Trigger on the spray can does not stay down once pressed so you either cannot use it or have to spray the entire can whilst in the room, stupidly I did the latter which resulted in a bad cough and nose bleeds.

Easy to use and did the job!

I bought to get rid of tiny flies (not fruit flies or drain flies) lasted two days at most and then started seeing them out of the corner of my eye again 🧐 so whatever is on them isn't that strong.
