I noticed that one of the predominant comments others have made is that the XXL hat actually FIT! I, too, inherited a large cranium. 7 3/4 to 7 7/8 hat size. I can remember as a kid betting a haberdasher who was showing me a gorgeous jacket that the straw skimmer he brought out wouldn't fit. Not even close. I hate buying hats by L or XL or XXL because they almost universally don't fit. Well, IT DOES. And I love it! I have an expensive Tilley hemp which is nice, but this is the one I am going to wear. I love the beat up old look (I'm pretty beat up and old myself), it is light weight (which helps a lot here in south Florida), and talk about crushable! The thing came packed in an envelope! And as a two-university adjunct professor, carefully crafting my eccentricity, it is a great conversation piece. Great hat. BUY ONE!!!!!

Damn I love this hat. Finally found a hat that fits my giant head and actually looks good on me. I wear this every time i go hiking or camping. Or to the store. Or working around the house. My only issue is that when i sweat it soaks right through the canvas. Luckily, the hat is just big enough that I can wear a bandanna underneath to soak up moisture, which also gives it a snugger fit to prevent it from blowing off. I want a second one just for the hell of it.

It was cold 🥶 up here today and the hat held up well. Incredibly well made thank you very durable.

I had a hat from this company for years until it was stolen. It was awesome and used it year round. I ordered a replacement and what came was barely a shadow of my older versions. The canvas is not treated so it’s floppy and when it gets wet is useless. In short you would be better to just put a bag over your head. Previous ratings are not the current product. This is garbage

One-size-fits-most hats do not fit me. I got the 2XL and it sits nicely without squeezing my dome. Seems to be a cool hat (temp wise) so far. Be warned, the patches are random. I like it.

I really like the hat! Seems well constructed thus far. Wish it had a draw string like the photos.

What can I say, but I LOVE THIS HAT! It looks great and fits very well. I ordered the XXL because I'm a big guy and usually have a hard time finding something that fits me well. But this thing was perfect, even for my 25 inch around noggin. It bent into shaped nicely also, and keeps it's form. I have a feeling this hat is going to be with me for a long time.

We have bought 2 of these. My husband wears them to cut the grass, garden at the beach and at the pool. We recently went on vacation and he accidentally left his st home. Luckily I was able to buy one on Amazon and have it there fast. Easy to clean if needed. Great Rustic look!
