I had twine on hand so I altered them a little bit so I could hang them the way that I wanted to. I also used the bridge differently but I highly recommend these. They are amazing and my parakeets LOVE them!

I use them for my parakeets. They love hanging out in them and I've even had eggs hatch successfully in them. Just make sure they are secured so they don't flop around. The opening is about 3 inches tall.

Within hours of putting it in the cage, my rats instantly used it… Also within hours of putting it in the cage, my one rat chewed the rope hanger, so I had to use pipe cleaners to reattach it.

We have two parakeets and they love these homes. The bridge between is a favorite sitting place and they often chase each other from one to the other. Great hiding place for when they get spooked too. So fun watching them play with it.
