Splish, Splash, Baby! (Karen Katz Lift-the-Flap Books)

My daughter is obsessed with this series of books! She calls them "The Baby Books." As she is two, she is learning all the words slowly in the books. She loves lifting the flap and saying what she sees under the flaps very loudly. She feels very good about herself when she can read a few words at a time. This is a great book for little readers. I see that it helps her gain her confidence. Highly recommended for new readers. Cute, short stories that are great for bedtime. She likes this book in particular as she takes a bath right before bed.

My 15 month old son's favorite books are the ones that he can interact with - and Karen Katz books are some of the best. The colors are bright, the images are clear, and the flip flaps are sturdy and easy enough to lift while still requiring him to pinch his fingers and pay attention. The text is large enough and easy to pay attention to - the words are clear and perfect for his age.

My 7 month old baby loves this book after recently learning how to flip pages. He usually loses interest in other books but this one keeps his attention because not only can he flip the board pages, but he can also look under the flaps. The book is pretty sturdy, as it's endured my baby's grabbing and pulling on the flap. He's bent a couple of the flaps but none have ripped so far. This is probably his favorite book at the moment.

This is a very cute book with flaps to lift and pull down. It's very interactive and the illustrations are adorable. Great book to read to your little one about bath time.

This is a HUGE hit with my grandson who is a year and half. I got it out of the Amazon box this morning around 9:00...it is now 10:00 am and we have read it so many times that I have lost count. I try to get him interested in something else or another book but he comes back with this one. The illustrations are simple and the flaps are sturdy and large for little hands.

Sturdy board book, vibrant colors and simple images keep my eight-month-old interested. I bought this book specifically because it doesn't say "no" on every page like some Karen Katz flipbooks - I was a little disappointed to find that one page does say the word "no," as I don't want the first word my daughter hears when she opens the flap to be "no." But this is a minor problem, since some of her other books have that word on literally every page.

We just can't get enough of the Karen Katz Lift-the-FLap Books. My 18 month old granddaughter reads them each day she comes to my house - multiple ties for each one. They are all so relatable to a baby/toddler's average day, and this one about bath time is wonderful. But, the favorite part is lifting the flaps and always acting surprised!

Great board book for little ones. The flaps make the book even better as your child lifts the flaps to find a surprise under it! Pictures are colorful and holds child's interest. We have a few of these and they are all great.

I gave to my daughter at her baby shower, she loved it. We are a reading family.
