Bought this for my 2014 F56 3 Door (RHD), Was super easy to fit just by removing the front cluster with the 2 lower screws. Removed existing rear screws and attached the mount and its very sturdy.Only reason for 4 start is the tightning mechanism for the holder itself. I find that i tightned it as hard as i could and sometimes the spring loaded phone holder part still moves a bit too much.The mouting to the cluster itself is solid tho and would recommend over anything that goes on your window or center console.Update: Down to 3 Stars, shortly after my 4 star review i found out why it moved too much, the plastic tightning nut had snapped therefore providing no hold at all so phone would just flop around.

I had been looking for a good, strong phone holder for a while as I didn’t like the ugly suction phone holders. Vent phone holders were no good in my Mini due to how small and circular the vents are so I was relying on a windscreen suction phone holder which I did not like. Once installed this looks brilliant, you would never tell that it’s not a standard piece of the car. It’s strong and sturdy and holds your device in a way that it does not block any view of the windscreen. I don’t know how I went so long with a standard suction phone holder when something like this is available. However, installing this thing was a nightmare! The little screwdriver that comes with the phone holder looked promising but it was too big to fit behind the speedometer to remove the screws, even after moving the steering wheel all the way out and pushing it down for more access. My father in law managed to get the screws out using screwdriver attachments, however it was extremely fiddly as there isn’t a lot of space behind the speedometer to see or untwist the screws. After fighting against the speedometer for around 45 minutes my father in law finally managed to take out the old screws and fit the phone holder with the new screws. Once attached it looked perfect and is extremely strong and sturdy, I will never go back to a standard vent or suction phone holder.

Overall product design ideal for 61-plate Mini Countryman. The holes for attaching to the back of the instrument display were 80mm apart, they needed to be 75mm apart to align with the fixing points. It was a very tricky job to alter the holes.Both the 2 holes for attaching the phone clamp were too small for the 'bolt' on the clamp! Easy to enlarge with a suitable drill.

Works well, will need the shortest of screwdrivers or a mini socket drive with a Philips screwdriver bit. But once on, very sturdy, ut grips the phone well and looks like it's part of the car and in a mini, it's quite easy to hide a cable from the centre console up to the phone holder position if desired.

Easy to fit from the instructions and looks good.Only complaint would be the actual clip that holds the phone becomes loose and the phone spins easily

Had to use a T27 head to remove to large screws from the bottom of Tachometer.Then flipped the Tachometer to access the three screws, used a PZ1 to remove the screws.I usually like my phone on the Left hand side on a right hand drive UK car. However in my vehicle the air vent on the left was in the way.Had to flip the holder to place the phone on the right. So Mini logo is facing outward. Used the longer screws provided to attach the holder.When buying it doesn't really matter if you buy right hand or left hand drive as it will still fit the car. Just the placement of the Mini logo will either be forward facing or reversed.

Fits fine after removing 2x Torq screws either side of the instrument cluster and then screwing the holder to the back with the provided longer screws. It puts the phone in a good position but the cradle swivel seems to get abit floppy when the car interior warms up - e.g. in the recent hot weather the phone ends up pointing down after going over a few bumps in the road. Have tried tightening it but it seems to be the actual cradle rather than the ball mount - might have to use some glue to fix it in position. A shame as it looks good.

Good solid mounting,a bit of dismantling to get the rear screws in but easy enough.A little bit of vibration when driving with phonr in mount but all in all a good product.
