Could not find these in any retail store. How the top attaches to the base could be better. Definitely not as well as the older one I have. Works well with grated cheese.

The plastic lid and the metal screw-off lid are both a nuisance to remove—very tight. Since the metal screw-off lid only needs to be removed when refilling the unit, that's not a big problem. But the plastic lid is only usable if not fully pressed on, but only to a quarter-inch dept or so.

When I first got this it was a little tough getting it open. Once I did I used some peanut oil on the rim then washed it and all is well. Living in the dusty desert it’s nice to have a lid. I have 2 of these. One for Burgers & Steaks and another with Cinnamon & Sugar.

The container is very well made and I love that it has a lid.The issue I have is with my parmesan. If it sits in the container for a day, the cheese clumps together and won't shake out. Even after breaking up the cheese it doesn't want to shake out easily. Got to find something to add to the cheese to keep it from clumping.

Last week, I spent a couple of hours looking for a grated cheese dispenser in Bed, Bath and Beyond, the Christmas Tree Shop and Target. No luck. Nothing even came close. I need the dispenser because I purchase grated cheese in 1 pound bags. I checked Amazon and found the Cuisinox dispenser. It's made of stainless steel and has a plastic cap to keep the cheese fresh while in the refrigerator. The holes in the top of the dispenser are perfect for grated cheese. Both my wife and myself are very happy with this dispenser and recommend it highly.

Product has a good design for this specific purpose, but the plastic cap is really poor quality. I returned one because it was cracked. Received a replacement and that one was cracked as well. Didn't bother to return the replacement. I assumed the cycle would just continue. For $10 the cap should be better quality.

The metal lid with the holes doesn't stay on the can securely. The top plastic lid doesn't come off without the top metal part coming off as well. You'd have to tape the metal lid on... Don't recommend, spend a few more bucks on something better!

Dispenses like a champ!! works great for an avid BBQ'er

I use this to hold and dispense baking soda for house cleaning. Works well. Sometimes it's hard to get the plastic top off without taking the whole top on the canister off.
