I ordered these for gifts after description said travel/insulated thermos. They were not insulated, and the gifts were for people in high humidity areas. Non insulated bottles sweat and create a mess on anything they are sitting on. The one bottle that I opened had a bad chemical smell. I would not drink water out of anything that had the chemical smell. Don't know if the smell would have come out of it after washing it, but it smelled of lacquer or something. I'd be afraid that it would leach out into the water in the bottle.The water bottle was nice looking and well made, shipped fast, just not what I expected, and not insulated. Shipping them all back.

While it is pretty, this will not work as your daily water bottle. That's why I wanted it, to use. Well water out of it tastes disgusting. Not satisfied.

Does not get as cold as my teal copper thermos either.
It froze and cracked. My other real copper thermos has frozen on accident 3 times and never cracked.
