Great taste!
Shady Farms Organic Maple Butter is so good that I have a difficult time thinking of eating anything else on my toast for breakfast. Because I'm not a fan of anything super sweet, I only put about 1 teaspoon on each slice of buttered toast. It is also good, in my opinion, with a small amount of peanut butter (Natural peanut butter with no sugar and no more than 1 teaspoon) added on top of the toast prepared as mentioned above. Some jars require stirring, while other jars do not. I'm not sure why this happens, but it isn't difficult to stir. The only thing I can think of that is negative is the cost per jar is a bit expensive, but, again, in my opinion, it is worth every penny. So if you decide to try it, I hope you like it as much as I do.

Warning! Addictive!
Can you say "heaven in a jar"? I grew up in New England eating lots of Maple Butter. Having spent the last 25 years in the south I was soooo excited to order a case. It is divine! I have given three jars away to some friends and they are, shall we say, in trouble. This product is perfect on waffles, any kind of pancake, toast, English muffin, cinnamon rolls, coffee, tea or by the spoon full. Don't say I didn't warn you.

More flavor than syup and easier to control
I love the flavor of maple sugar, maple syrup, and maple candy, but this maple cream (or butter as it's called) is my favorite. It stays where you put it on pancakes or biscuits. Because it's a cream, it doesn't make pancakes soggy or mix with other food on the plate... and it's easy to control how much you want to use. However, if you like syrup-soaked pancakes (and sausage and/or eggs) you might not enjoy this.

Cap is not fully sealed
The caps are not fully sealed and can easily open even with plastic seal, during shipping, some of the caps were loose and syrup leaked out, made the box messy inside. Also the syrup is saturated so the top part are just maple syrup rather than maple butter

Has a gritty texture
Having had this product bought at a local specialty store by a different manufacturer I found theirs to be very smooth and creamy. Made of pure organic maple sugar. They are sold out, so I thought I would try this brand. I have opened 2 of these and they are both very gritty in texture. Flavor is good. But I prefer the smooth product to a gritty tasting one. I most likely will not buy this brand again.

Wonderful stuff
If they ever stop making this I think my wife will have to enter rehab. We near ran out and she was already showing sighs of withdrawal

But it by the case!
If you're a fan of maple syrup, try this. We buy it by the case because the jars are small (making it easier to mix) and we go through them quickly. You will not want to run out!
