I love this brush! Medium size is kind of small, but I prefer to work with a smaller brush as opposed to a huge wire pinned one. The really big ones seem a little brutal for thin coated maltipoos or yorkies so this is perfect. Its solid and does a really nice job. I would order again, I wish brushes weren’t so expensive though

This brush has done a great job on my Sheltie's coat. The old brush, which this replaced, was not nearly the quality and bothered my pup. This brush she is very tolerant of so grooming goes quickly. This brush is easy to hold, and use. I am happy and my pup is very happy that I threw the old brush in the trash!

This is a lightweight brush that I find easy to hold & use. The handle is short, and works fine for my hand. The pins are small in diameter and suitable for many coat types. I've used this brush on my DSH cat, my Australian Shepherd and my GSDxBC mix, works great for them all. Might not work as well on a dog with a very heavy coat.

I use these to do hand carding angora rabit fur for spinning and they do fairly well for it being a hand carding hack to save money on carders. The handles are nice to hold onto and they are light making it easy to card. Some of the areas of the brush was bent when I received them but it's an easy fix.

We have made it into a part of the routine with our beloved Brits.... no more messy clumps of awfulness that need the scissors taken to them, no matter how hard we try to keep them clean and brushed. (How do they hide those knots so well! It's like the miraculous and never found secret hiding places in their mouths!) It is not TOO harsh nor painful for them in any way. So grateful we got this!

As others have said, it's not a gentle brush, but it's how you use it. I have a long hair cat with a lot of undercoat and she LOVES when it pulls out, gets all crazy and wants more, so it works well on her pantaloons and around her mid-section where it gets heavy. My other short hair hates to be brushed in general so the only time I can do it is when she is eating. I have to go slow and easy because she is sensitive to touch but it works to also get her undercoat on her back. It's all about the touch and you definitely cannot be hard handed if they are sensitive. Aside from this, it works great. I replaced a 20 yr old brush of the same style and this one was a good choice.

Useful for getting the tangles out of the coat of my dogs.

I have to be very careful when I brush my boy. He is along haired chihuahua but downer have a double coat. So I don’t use this too often. The ends are sharp and scratchy.

This brush is used on 2-4 dogs almost daily. I'm a professional groomer and I highly recommend this slicker brush. Been using it for over 3 mos and works great. Hasn't lost any pins
