The product works as designed. Stagger adding the portions while mixing and mix frequently when applying the paint to make sure that settling doesn't occur. I used a full bag for 1 Gallon acrylic patio paint and it provided a balanced/good coverage of the painted area. Will definitely buy again.

If you need something to make something less slippery this is the product for you. Our pool has now sluffed off all over the calluses my feet because of this. Gross I know, but that's what chlorine is for. I have not slipped on this product at all.

Uniform grit, like fine sand, that adds to paint. Not very large sized grit. Reduced some slipping on ramps- but not very robust. I repainted ramps and sprinkled sand-box sand onto the wet paint- now the ramps are non-slip.

I used these to add some grip to a an epoxy floor. They worked perfectly! They are slightly colored but when I put them in the epoxy you could not see any of the color which is what I wanted. Will be buying more for my next project.

I put this stuff in truck bedliner for a more coarse finish and it did the job perfectly.

Quality

Easy to mix and use. Use quality paint if you want a quality finish with any grit. I did and this grit is great.

As others have mentioned, this is basically a bag of clean smaller rocks. I used this to mix with tub and tile paint to add a non-slip texture to a tub. It does the job well, although there are some rocks that are sharper than others, so stepping on them with bare feet would hurt a bit, but it wears a bit over time so it's not too bad. Also, you don't have to use much of this to get the non-slip effect. I used less than a 1/4 of the bag for an entire tub and it works well since I was afraid that using more would cause too much irritation for bare feet.
