36" 3/8-063-114DL Archer Ripping Chainsaw Chain replaces 75RD114G A3EP-RP-114E

Chain was used in conjunction with an Alaskan sawmill to rip a large rock maple into slabs. I was beyond impressed with the quality of cut and fact the chain remained sharp for the whole project. Ordered a second to keep a spare.

I have several brands of rip chains and so far this is the best.

Clean cutting chain. Works better as you use and go through your normal sharpening maintenance. Would recommend to anyone that wants to get into milling their own wood. Cut a lot before first sharpening.

I was skeptical about buying this for 2 reasons: 1. I am new to ripping slabs of wood and 2. There are no reviews for this product. So I looked at the reviews for other sizes, same brand and they were OK. Today I cut a few slabs of red cedar from some trees that were cut down about a week ago. Trunk sizes were 1-1.5 ft wide. This chain performed perfect, cut right through and left a smooth surface.

I have been using this chain to mill an oak tree. I was very surprised how long it kept sharp. I had a small issue with the chain, but after a quick email with customer service I was very pleased with the results. Will be buying these chains in the future.

This saw chain came in wonderfully sharp with a very even grind on all the blades. I had planned on touching up the teeth before using it, but after a quick inspection I was able to start cutting right away. The finish was great and the chain didnt wander at all. Even for a ripping chain it cut very fast and aggressive. Will definitely buy a coupe more to rotate through.

This chain has performed great. I am pleasantly surprised at how long it stays sharp. I have slabbed 6 logs total of cherry, hickory and oak and only resharpened once. That's about 20 cuts on 7-8 for long 14 inch wide logs. It leaves a good surface also. I am so pleased I bought a second chain to have as backup.

Good for ripping a log length wise. good value for the money, but will not stay sharp as long as an Oregon.
