This works really well on wheels Mmake sure they’re cooled off or you’ll get spots from the chemical.However, I didn’t buy it for wheels. I got it to get hard water spots off my car from a neighbors sprinkler that has been watering my car.I tried all kinds of products and was about to pay a detailer. Then I read about someone using this for water spots. It worked great.Do small areas so it doesn’t dry and wipe off.You’re going to have to wash your vehicle and re-wax since the chemical is going to strip off all the wax. My clear coat was in decent shape. I don’t know how it would work for areas that the clear coat is gone.

Love the product. Works well for brightening wheels.

Using this at a rate of 1 to 5 with water it is good to remove water spots from the car.

I used this product to get water spots off my car - per internet - it works great but it got on my windshield and i left it overnight...next day the glass was etched really badly, enough so i have to replace the windshield. so be careful ........

Great stuff makes the job a lil easier

So first of all I wish Meguires made this product more viscous so it clings to the vertical wheel surface better. This product works wonders on that absolutely baked on rusty brake dust. So glad I have this for my flip cars now.Just like any other wheel acid DO NOT LET IT SIT FOR LONGER THAN YOU REALLY NEED IT. You can damage the clear coat if you’re not careful. Just abide by the 45second dwell time, rinse then apply more as needed to the wet wheel, then agitate with a brush to loosen the dust/grime.

I know it's not meant for it, but I saw some videos of this product bring used for bad water spots on vehicle paint. I used it and, when everything else seemed to not work, this product did. In fact worked way better than I thought it would. Great product. Highly recommend! FYI watch the videos on the product if you are going to use it for water spots. Ensure it does not touch the glass, it WILL etch it.
