High quality stainless steel pans
Quality heavy duty saucepans that cook evenly and clean well in dishwasher, told my children to make sure that they get their hands on them when I expire as they will last for ever

Guarantee is not worth the paper it’s written on, Meyer support ignore all correspondence
Don’t bother buying Meyer if you are under the impression that the guarantee is valid or that their customer service team in the Wirral respond to any claim or query. They don’t

Still the best at this price...
Purchased my first set of Meyer pans maybe 12 years ago. Used them faithfully, many times per week ever since. Finally replaced them when one of the handles came off and the Teflon coating on the frying pans was worse for wear. To give an indication of quality, 3 pans from my original set were still in excellent condition and were sold at market for £5. Minor faults over the years (old design rubber handle grips seemed to have a known issue, the new ones are built differently) have been replaced without question by Meyer customer services (they are excellent). Don't begrudge paying ~£80 for another 10 years of saucepans.

Worse than the old design - wouldn’t recommend
Like other reviewers, I bought these because I already had an older set of these from about 15 or so years ago, and I bought them mainly because of the straining lid. I wanted to buy another set as we bought a rather poor Tefal Jamie Oliver set where constant dishwashing had eroded what I can only presume were aluminium rivets to the point that the handle actually came off one pan and looked dangerously close on one of the others - and these pans were only maybe 8 years old. One problem with the old Meyer pans was the plastic round knobs had come loose and failed due to the plastic thread breaking, but a bit of Araldite soon fixed that. These new pans are a very similar design except for a few changes. Firstly, the handle of the pan has changed to be thick pressed metal, and the plastic grip is smaller. This means you are more likely to have the sharp metal edges dig into your hand when holding a heavy pot of food. This is a worse design in that regard. Secondly, the pan lids have riveted handles instead of screwed in knobs - the advantage being they shouldn’t fail in the same way as the round knobs, the disadvantage being the handle now gets hot on the top metal part, which is a worse design. Thirdly, they seem to be made of a much cheaper stainless steel alloy, as they discolour very easily. The old pans still look good as new, but the new ones look terrible. Overall, I wouldn’t buy these again unless I couldn’t find another pan with a straining lid. I would happily pay much more for a better quality product.

Excellence = Meyer
Just purchased a new set as the handle of my 18 year old 20 inch saucepan has finally given up( corroded by dishwasher). The whole set is still in pristine condition, was actually thinking of replacing this with a Mauviel pan but purchased this set for less than a third the cost of just one Mauvial. As I do not expect to go on Masterchef any time soon nor am I waiting on my first Michelin I am sure that this excellent brand will continue to look after all of of our needs. You really will be impressed, also took advantage of the pay monthly installments so if you are able to take advantage will set you back around £15 month. No Brainer.

Great Quality
Bought these pans as a replacement for my old Meyer ones; if they last 15yrs like the last ones I'll be very happy.
