Case was poorly made but tools work good

This is definitely a starter kit but works great. I liked it enough that I bought my brother one for Christmas this year. The handles are not loose. The carrying case is sturdy enough. And the steal is low temper steal, so it folds in easy.

This obviously isn't a professional grade set... so don't go crazy with it. But I think this is the best set you'll find at this price point. I've been using it quite a bit lately while making some replacement panels for a restoration project I'm doing... but I haven't been going crazy with the force I use (there are better tools for that anyway... planishing hammer, breaks, etc)... so I haven't had any problems. At any rate, don't go crazy with it and I think you'll get your money's worth out of this set.

O.k. quality auto body hammer set with just the basic hammer shapes given. Not a big fan of the fiberglass handles, wooden handles have the better feel response when you strike the metal. The shaping dollies that came in the set are fine, with slight contour defects (go up your costs and get some Martin hammers), which you can grind out yourself. Overall: o.k. basic set of auto body tools. Buy the MARTIN HAMMERS though.

Bought this set after Getting a job and needed my own tools. Its now 2023 & I still have the complete set and Everything is going strong like it was when I bought it.

The set was as advertised I did not have great expectations for the finish so I was prepared for rough castings. However I expected the ground finish has to be better than they were. The main issue you can see in the photos one of the ground finishes is improperly ground and in an unusable condition. That issue will need to be addressed quality control does not seem to be too good because the flaw is very obvious.

This seems to be a good deal at a bargain price. I have just opened it and it comes in acase which is a plus to keep the organized especially for me since I don't have a big garage to operate in. I admit this quality is fine with proper use, and I am not a experienced body man

these are OK, but they are cheap and quality is poor. I dropped one of the hammers and the head broke off, not the handle, but the iron head ! The set I received looked as though they had already been used. Even the case was shattered when it arrived. Think next time I would look for a better quality set of body hammers.
