LEGO Technic 4x4 X treme Off Roader 42099 Building Kit (958 Pieces)

This lego set was exactly what he wanted. It was a fairly challenging, but not impossible lego set to assemble. He enjoyed the challenge and was proud when he completed it.Additionally, when he was done, we connected his android device to it for remote control and he has enjoyed hours of running it around the house and using the well designed shocks, can run over obstacles and climb different terrains he has made. Good product, well done!

I wanted to have something to do while it was cold out and this fit the bill! Fun build which took me about 1.5 days to build. Instructions are clear and the packaging makes it even easier to follow. Enjoy your build!

Built this with my child, it was there present since they could not have a party due to COVID. Its Technic so a little harder to put together then normal Legos. This thing is cool its controlled via Bluetooth and works great.Its a crawler so that means its slow. its meant to go RC Off-roading.Very cool build like always from lego.

My husband loves Legos!!! And this set did not disappoint. He commented that the set was easy to drive, solidly built, and had lots of fun details. He also thought the app was great! Legos are the best toy ever developed, whether my baby grandson playing with the large chunky Duplos, or my 50+ husband playing with sets like this one.

When this item was given for our 10 year old grandson for his birthday, the smile on his face and the excitement that followed was so cool. He received 6 Lego sets, and has put them all together; however I cannot give an honest review as he has not begun this Lego yet. He may need a little assistance; but when he is finished I will give another review. But for now - appears to be Outstanding.

In the end I was able to build the model, and the design is well done and fully functional.However, there are several key points, both good and bad I should mention:I love the change lego has made on the control boxes, not needing to have a screwdriver to open the thing makes the utility of itas a toy MUCH more enjoyable.I cant really expect perfection in the field of functionality its generally impossible, being made from a universal building kit. mechanical drift will happen, steering can become off, creating a slight turn. While I am not expecting better quality, as it is at its best at the moment, it would be an interesting study for lego to do to improve on that factor.Last but not least, a sad note to mention, despite legos focus on quality, I DID get a defective part. In fact, the first part I pulled out has a semetrical cave-in defect in the pin holes on opposite corners of the box, as seen in the photo, its hard to see but its real. Those holes are essentially useless and I couldnt use it as directed, I had to swap it for another one from further down the instructions.So... while I do believe the product is worth it anyway, It deffinitely had its quirks and the buyer should keep itin mind when buying.

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to assemble, looks great and fun to play with. I also got the LED lights to accent and they look amazing!
