Bought as I gift for my son who is gaming. Ad and collects all kinds of retro gaming..this book is a good addition for him. Packed with load and pictures and info ..sure to keep him happy.

Very nice book just took far too long for delivery

This hardback book is a gamer’s dream come true. It is filled to the brim with information on retro games dating back as far as the early 1980s.The 100 games are only a small percentage of the book, the rest of it is filled with more in-depth information on just a handful of titles including Metal Gear and Halo.I did wonder what the word ‘Retro’ actually meant in terms of how many years ago, as some of the games are only nine years old, but apparently ‘Retro’ doesn’ t have a number.I was reminded of games I had long since forgotten such as Manic Miner and Lemmings, gosh they were a lot of fun and basic in relation to today’s games.This would make a great coffee table book or a gift for a gamer both past and present.I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily reviewed

The book itself is good but the amount of typos is bothersome and just makes the book feel rushed. The editor should find a new job.

The font and paper quality really makes this a chore to read. Not to mention it seems like random tidbits someone just got off the internet and made a book out of it.I have bought many books like this one and they're actually fun to read...not this one.
