Fantastic product. I love the fact that it has a removable drawer to empty out the insect carcasses. The fact that shatterproof bulbs are available for it is another plus. As far as noise every once in a while you'll get a extra large moth or other flying insect to get in it and it will make some racket! But no more so than a regular bug zapper does if noise level is going to be a problem for you then I don't suggest you get the indoor bug zapper! Unless you're highly sensitive to the smell of the insect attractants and if you empty the removable tray regularly, I personally have noticed no smells. It runs off AC so you don't have to worry about replacing batteries or battery life. One final point I should make is if you are slightly compassionate towards bugs or believe that insects carry souls then you may not want to use this product because it does kill bugs really dead. Oh and I have to make one retraction there is a slight smell of burning bugs when something larger does get in there so be aware if you smell fire and you hear the sizzle of a bug zapper is probably just the soul of that bug!

About 40 days after installation, the bulbs have already gone bad. What a piece of junk. I want my money back.

We recently installed this in an area with constant foot traffic and a lot of flies. It has performed exceptionally well and has captured many flies. Excellent product!

I have purchased several of these Flowtron units and the larger FC7800 unit over the years for my business. When new they seem to last about a year. Then then are worthless. I buy new Flowtron bulbs and most of the time do not work due to bad bulbs or guts have gone bad. This has been a pattern on about 6 of these units I have purchased over the past several years. Even one we replaced all the guts with Flowtron parts and worked for about a year then nothing. I just replaced two lamps in one newer unit about a week ago, again with Flowtron lamps, and lamps and unit does not work. I finally wrote an email to Flowtron a week ago about my disappointment now and over the years and no response from them yet. I also told them I am switching to another brand that has high reviews and half the price.

Now THIS is a KILLER product (pun intended) I recently disposed of the LiBa Electric Bug Zapper. The only thing it killed, was my hope (see review). It was a lesson in “You get what you pay for.” I bought this because it has more ZAP than the cheap ones. And it seemed to be in a number of commercial applications too. Well, I LOVE this unit. It works. First time the bugs hit it, they are dead. Just like it is supposed to work. 5 stars. Kinda pricey, but I learned my lesson on being cheap.

It will kill the bugs that come in, but you have to figure out how lure them there.,

Seems to be a nice unit. I've owned a couple of Flowtrons in the past, and they seem to hold up well. It's zapping bugs in my garage as I write this. My one complaint, and the reason I downgraded it one star, is the annoying and constant buzzing sound it makes. My other Flowtrons (which were outside units ), were silent; so I was surprised this one is so noisy.

Good product second one purchased. Works well for a small business. Will purchase again when needed. Recommend this product for ustomers.
