I think it works
First of all, I guess everyone has a different sense of smell but I think it smells like an invigorating spa product - herbal and invigorating. Not an overpowering scent at all unless you're snorting it directly from the bottle up your nose. I sometimes apply it in the day and my hair just looks like it has some pomade in it. I will be transparent and say that I started this serum and taking finasteride about the same time: 9 months ago. But I intend to keep using both because my hair is looking fuller and healthier now. The studies I've read about saw palmetto are pretty positive and I feel like it's also helping my hair look more shiny and full. My issues are more alopecia areata than male pattern baldness. I can still see the circular patch of alopecia on my scalp but also had some hair shedding when I started finasteride, which is normal. Now I can see some regrowth and just a more robust appearance of my hair coming back. I attribute it to this serum and the medication.

So far fine - will update in 2 months.
I've used this product every other day for a few weeks. I have extremely thin and fine hair which has always just gotten thinner. As to whether or not it is causing hair growth is a question I will answer in a few months when I update my review. But I wanted to clear a few things up and give an honest preliminary opinion. The smell is strong but I personally really enjoy it. Anyone complaining that this makes their hair oily does not understand that this is indeed the intended result, and that the product instructions tell you to wash it out, it's like an oil mask not something you keep in. You might have to use a little more shampoo (make sure its sulfate free if you don't want to reverse all the good progress you made) but it does come out. I like to leave it on for a few hours, dispersing it over my scalp, and then comb the oil until it coats all of my hair. I blow dry at a medium-warm temperature. My scalp feels stronger, my hair stands up a bit straighter, and has a glorious shine and healthy look. I shed a little less though I still think its too early to tell. In order to gain the benefit of this product I think you need to combine it with other methods by cutting out habits that cause hair loss (using too much heat, harmful shampoo, or having a poor vitamin deficient diet.) and cultivating a good routine with your hair care. I also take supplements, an oral saw palmetto and black current oil in order to help with hormonal balance that may be attributing to the hair loss. I have hopes that this combination of efforts will have good results. I'll have comparison images posted in a few months.

Really small bottle
My hair feels a lot healthier with this product. However, there are other products just like it that are much bigger and concentrated better for a better price. I also think there is more filler in this, being caster oil which I am not a fan of.

5 star
My first time ever writing a review and it's for good reason. I was looking for the most natural way to slow my MPB (Male pattern baldness) and came across Saw Palmetto. I didn't want to take it orally and block my total production of dht or suffer from any side effects. So I looked for oils to apply directly and found this. The night after the first use, I noticed my hair standing up and less relaxed. I knew it made a difference. So I proceeded to use it every other night before bed, applying it directly to the affected area. After a week, my hair looked thicker, stronger and getting longer. New hair strands are appearing. Its only been two weeks. I think the trick is to catch it early before dht permanently stops production of hair. But be aware, it takes some dedication. Miss application for too many days and you'll start thinning again. definitely recommend to anybody. Even women. This product has so many other beneficial, natural products in it besides saw palmetto. All crucial for hair growth.

Be careful
This product caused a neurological reaction. Two hours after applying it sparingly to a small section of my scalp, I had tremors so pronounced that I couldn't hold a glass of water. They dissipated overnight but it was extremely stressful. I had a hard time believing a "natural" hair serum could have been responsible for such a concerning reaction. There were no mentions on the label of any potential side effects, and there are no reviews mentioning it. In the pursuit of accurate information I tried it again a few days later. Just a few drops in only one spot. Sure enough, within an hour I was having neurological effects once again. I immediately washed my scalp repeatedly and the effects subsided. I have since researched all the oils and substances listed in the ingredients to see if any have a history of neurological side effects like tremors or disorganized cognition. The only one I found that had even a slight propensity for this caliber of side effect was rosemary oil. I tried a topical application of pure rosemary oil with no ill effects, and I have had no other neurological issues at all, of any kind, since the second trial with this product, so I know it was not due to my own system coincidentally being uncharacteristically out-of-whack during the span of the few days I was exposed to this product. I have no idea what happened with this serum, or why it had such a traumatic effect on my nervous system, but it did. I realize that this must be extremely uncommon, or other customers surely would have reported it. I'm writing this review solely for people like me who, for whatever reason, have a tendency towards odd/rare reactions to pharmaceutical/botanical substances. If you know that you have a history of unusual responses, please use this serum with caution.
