Hamilton Beach 22671 Toaster 2 Slice, Black and Stainless

I love my new toaster. Couldn’t live without my toasted bagels lol. I love the catch tray compartment for crumbs, that makes it easier to clean and maintain, something I was specifically looking for in a toaster since before my last one died it did not have that feature. It’s a must have feature if you use your toaster often or have to store it when not in use as I use to have to do.Very easy to use and worth the price.

This toaster works great! I bought it and then continued to fight the 50.00 toaster on the counter. Why oh why did I wait so long to plug it in? The first time I used it, the Krupp's went into the trash. It toasts the bread I use perfectly, the old one couldn't do it, and the temperature settings on it never worked.I just heard my toast pop up, and I know when I walk into the kitchen I'll be greeted by 2 slices of perfect toast.

Everything about this toaster is a little better than many others I've seen or used. Slots are wide enough. Toasts quickly. And the price is good. But -- the slots are not quite deep enough; the tops of my bread slices (commercial products, not homemade) don't fall down as low as the top heating element at the top the slots, so that part of the slice doesn't get toasted. It's only a little band of untoasted bread across the top of the slice, but I'd prefer to have all of it toasted. EDIT: After three weeks of use, once per day, it doesn't get as hot as it did at first. I've been turning the temp knob up little by little. Started at 4.0, now am up to 5.5 for same amount of heat. If it doesn't settle at that, I'll return it.

Very easy to use and to clean love how easy it is to empty the crumbs. When my toaster oven stopped working i decided to go with a basic toaster and gain back some counter space. Toasts bread, bagels, English muffins and frozen waffles perfectly

Our old toaster died after years of service. I came online to look for a replacement after a suitable ceremony. I was shocked when I saw the prices of all the "toasters" on the first page. Prices as high as $300 for a toaster?? Ridiculous! I persevered and continued to scroll, LO and BEHOLD, I came across a Hamilton Beach Steel 2 slice toaster! Almost a twin to the one we had recently lost. Got it in, plugged it in....IT WORKS. PERFECT TOAST the very first time, for a cost of only $19.99. Seriously folks what do you want to a toaster to do? This will toast bread quickly, and more efficiently than out old one, better controls and the extra wide slots make it a winner.

We bought this as a gift for a friend who lives in an assisted living facility. One day she said "I'd like a toaster and they said I could have one in my room." I went over the options offered by Amazon, found a Hamilton Beach (reliable brand!) for an excellent price and noted that while it didn't have too many bells and whistles, it did have an automatic shutoff feature - perfect for an older recipient with mild memory issues. It arrived the next day as guaranteed and we were able to give it to her the day after that. She couldn't be happier!

It works. Smelled like burnt plastic the first time I used it. Still smells a bit funky. Toasts things just fine. Feels pretty flimsy. I don't anticipate it'll last more than maybe a year or so, but hey, it's cheap, it makes toast. UPDATE: El Cheapo toaster is going strong still

My daughter and husband use.this toaster every single morning to make toast for my breakfast. It's really quick and gives me consistently browned toast every time. I like the fact that it's adjustable in several different ways as far as what exactly you're toasting.
