Best Sugar Substitute Ever, With One Caveat
I became very interested in Xylitol after hearing and reading about it's scientifically proven ability to restore teeth and bones over time. Micro-Ingredients seemed to have a good rep as a company and had the best overall price as well. Xylitol has 40% of the calories of sugar, is plant based, and has no impact on insulin levels As a sweetener, Xylitol can replace sugar at a 1 to 1 ratio, no fancy math required. I've noticed ZERO difference in taste between it and sugar also. Even Stevia has a slight aftertaste to me, but not Xylitol. My homemade Korean Bulgogi sauce turned out perfect using it. Xylitol dissolves easily in water as well, more so than sugar or other substitutes. I've read that it doesn't caramelize well however, so that specific baking goal is probably out. The only real drawback to Xylitol is that ingested in large quantities, it can have a "laxative effect". Per guidelines I've read, that means 50 grams or more. While that's what would be in a single serve bottle of Coke, you'd have to eat a whole lot of cookies, cake or pie made with Xylitol to hit that limit.

A great natural product.
Great value for the price very consistent and texture has a good sweetness to it. I use it to brush my teeth with as well as putting in other things to sweeten it.

Good stuff, nice zip top, free teaspoon scoop.
Cheap xylitol, good stuff. Granules are larger than sugar so takes vigorous stirring to dissolve. Comes with cute little (teasoon?) scoop. I love the zip top, and only cut open the seal above it on one corner, so it is focusses pouring, and makes it harder to spill.

Top ingredient in my mix.
good quality, good price. I use it as a sweetener for my home made toothpaste. Helps keep my teeth cleaner than any commercial toothpaste. Can't say I use it for cooking. No after taste like other sweeteners.

The Taste IS the Point
When something tastes this good, you just know it can't be healthy, right? I'm not sure, but what I do know is that it tastes just like regular sugar. About a month and a half ago, my doctor told me I needed to lay off sugar, and I began trying all kinds of substitutes, mainly for my coffee. Many of them were still said to raise your blood sugar index, and those that didn't mostly had a horrible aftertaste. By the time I discovered Xylitol, I thought it was too good to be true, literally. It actually tastes 90 to 95% just like regular sugar with no bad aftertaste and without raising my blood sugar. It comes granulated very similar to sugar, will clump if exposed to moisture, and is slightly harder to dissolve than regular sugar. But for me, the taste is the point.

Maybe-but not for what I want it -No para lo que la queria
It is a great product, tastes like sugar but does not work for what I'm looking for, I've been drinking 21oz of coffee with milk, cuban coffee, for more than 10 years, in order for it to taste good it does need sugar, real sugar, when I go to bed I look forward to wake up in the morning for my coffee that keeps me full till lunch, I have been doing the intermittent diet, that works pretty well, but my attempts to replace my coffee with coffee creamers and stevia or splenda did not work, nothing taste like my cuban cafe con leche, so after a bit of research I found this, it is similar and I may use it with a cooking recipe , in the meantime I am mixing half cane sugar with this, so I can taste what I want, first day I did tried it with only this sugar, (it does give you stomach bloating and diarreah) I think if I keep drinking it I may get used to it and the flavor but I do not want to, I will continue mixing it until I finish it since I cannot return it. it is a great product, works good but not for what I was looking for.

Dissolves fine, tastes ok
The taste is fine, and this Xylitol dissolves ok in a drink with a bit of additional stirring. I also used it in baking recipes. No complains, except it is so much more expensive than sugar, and it's not that low in calories.
