Literal Translation Bible-OE-Kj3 Paperback – December 7, 2010

I have been using a paperback copy of the KJ3 and love it. It holds together and takes the beating that I seem to give bibles.I like the KJ3 so much that I have decided to get the hardback copy also. I'm sure that the hardback copy will be of the same or better quality than the paperback. This bible is printed in the United States, not China, Columbia or any other foreign country and it shows by the quality. I've had so many bibles fall apart within a year of buying them and most of them were printed outside of the United States.I like, not only the updating in the KJ3, but I love the fact that this bible dares to use the name of God in the several thousand places that it occurs."Jehovah" as the name of God was used for centuries, until the Jehovah Witnesses starting calling their organization by that name. Then, it seems to me, bible publishers went through a series of mental gymnastics to find reasons to come up with some other name.It is written not to add or subtract from the Word, but most of the translations use LORD instead of JEHOVAH. This version restores the name and it makes reading the bible so much easier.There is absolutely no place in the Scriptures that even implies that using the name Jehovah is taking the name in vain or is some type of sin. That is nothing but gross superstition and I appreciate Jay Green for restoring the name.I've heard all the arguments and excuses being put forth why the title LORD is used instead of the name JEHOVAH, but they are all very lame, to say the least.This bible is easy to read and I highly recommend it.

I love this translation! It actually like reading the Bible all over again but for the very first time! I want to sleep with it! I wish I had just went ahead and got the leather bound! I love it that it’s made with GOOD PAPER! It’s strong not so thin it rips so easy. It’s perfect cept the leather and I wish the extensions that’s on the Olive Tree App has. But I’m not gonna let my Bible out of my hands! It’sConnected to my heart!

It's a beautiful new testament.The cover is sturdy, and strikingly beautiful.The pages are bleached white, and thick enough to not bleed through,and the font size is large enough to see easily,11-12 font.It has 284 pages, which includes a few black and white maps.The text comes in two rows on each page.It's a joy to read.I underline passages as I go which encourage me in my walk with our Savior.I bought a second for a friend.

Jay Green did his Modern King James Version in the 1960s and was 20 years ahead of the later NKJV which was done in the 1980s. MKJV was updated in the 1990s.In 1970s, Jay Green also did the King James II Version which was also an update of the MKJV.Jay Green Senior worked up to his final days to finally give us the KJ3 which is an update of his LITV in his Interlinear Bible and the KJ3 represents the final work of Jay Green Senior and is more up to date than his MKJV and King James II Version.The KJ3 is very similar to the NKJV. The NKJV is getting old bec. it has not been updated since the 1980s. In Genesis 1:21, KJV has whales, NKJV has sea creatures, KJ3 has sea monsters.Most printings of the Interlinear Bible are from the 1980s (2nd edition) so the KJ3 should be used to supplement the use of the Interlinear Bible.The MKJV is out of print so instead of buying expensive used copies, just get the latest work of Jay Green Senior which is the KJ3.I got the thick paper edition when I ordered from Amazon instead of at sgpbooks.com. The thick paper edition is really thick. sgpbooks.com also offers the thin paper edition. I prefer the thick paper edition bec. I underline some words.kj3 can also be read for free online.I greatly admire Jay Green Senior for his hard work and his great works and he certainly has earned his rest.

Lovely Copy,nice and clean but a little wear on the cover but I still LOVED it!! It's always nice to read a good translation on the Bible. I think if you are a person who loves to study the Word then this is a good one to add to your collextion.

I LOVE this translation!! The KJ3 version gives so much more depth and beauty to The Word- it feels like I went from reading The Bible in black-and-white to color. I am the type who seeks the most literal of translations and here it is! Thank God for all of Jay P Green Sr.'s meticulous work for those who speak English as a first language!

As a minister of the Gospel and a Born again bible believer , I find this set of Scriptures to be most helpful in my studies and message preparing.
