Really wide belt, but sturdy and useful size
No bottle was included and there was none in the photo for this product when I ordered it, despite reading comments about a bottle. The belt and fastener is huge compared to my fanny pack. I can see the need for the support when I put a 16.9oz water bottle inside an insulated pouch (not included with the pack) in the bottle section of the pack and load up the zipper pocket with a necklace type battery powered fan & spare batteries, phone, travel size lotion and tissues, a small plastic grocery bag and a stick of lip balm.Sometimes I put a short 8oz bottle in the zipper section, put my phone in a pocket and put a small and light weight umbrella in the bottle section. Either way that's a lot of weight in the pack but it feels secure and it is comfortable to wear but it can get hot under that wide band. It is probably best to have a thick absorbent fabric between you and the waist pack. I wear the pack over my clothes, not in belt loops My jeans and t-shirt do an adequate job of isolating my skin from the belt and absorbing perspiration.I leave some slack in the waist strap to let it drop a bit below my high/short waist as a tall bottle will bump my chest if I put the pack at my actual waist. With my waist being much narrower than my hips, it stays put nicely while I'm walking. This pack does the job I require of it so I'm happy.

Super for the price
I purchased 2 black Everest Waist Packs with Sports Bottle for less than $2 each plus shipping, so less than $10 all together. Would love it if the seller would bundle shipping; but for the price I can't complain.I bought for a 4-year old and a 6-year old. Wanted a water bottle and a small zippered pocket - big enough for snacks, a small poncho, tissues, etc. yet small enough for kids.4-star instead of 5-star: I needed to make a modification. The waist is too large for little kids - the belt is adjustable only on one side. For each pack, I bought a 1.5" strap holder, unsewed the end of the buckle, and re-assembled it as an adjustable strap. With both straps adjustable, they fit my skinny little 4-year old, as well as adjusting for an adult. The construction is quality, the zipper is good, the material is fine, the engineering is decent. The bottle is uninspiring; but adequate. Nothing fancy like breathing, sweat-reducing fabric or anything like that; just a well-built simple sub-$10 pack. This works great for what I wanted. My little people carry their own stuff. It is less cumbersome than a backpack and doesn't get taken off and left as frequently. It does get in the way a bit for a 40-lb person; but anything smaller simply wouldn't suffice to carry what she needs for a few hours of hiking, amusement park, or whatever we're up to.

Seems to be as good value
I have a large waist pack that holds two large bottles of water, but I wanted something smaller for Disney. This holds a small wallet, full tube of sunscreen, cell phone, and a few small odds and ends. The construction seems fine. The bottle holder is wide and tall enough to securely hold my Brita bottle. (I did not get a bottle with the pack, as was descibed, but I always use a filtered water bottle. Not getting a cheap bottle with the pack is far from a deal breaker.)The comments about the size of the belt are true. It will not fit a larger person. The pack is comfortable if you wear it at your back. The taller shape means it is not as comfortable on the side or front as a wider, shorter pack, but the extra height keeps the water bottle secure. And I'm short, so it may work fine at the side for a taller person.I've only used this pack for a one-day trip, but it worked well. If the construction holds up, it will be an excellent value for the price.

Great!
Works great, the best belt bag water bottle holder combo I've seen.

A few problems
There is NO BOTTLE even though the photos shows one and there are comments about the bottle in the reviews. Mine did not come with a bottle and it says so right in the description. I guess I was confused. This small pack looks good, but the closure part is tooooooooooo BIG to fit through the loops of a regular pair of shorts or pants. The webbing might, but the closing clip will not. I debated cutting the whole thing off and tying it around my waist. I wanted to use this as a belt...I am out of luck.

Everest Waistpack review
This waist certainly fit the bill for me. I bought it specifically for the many hikes I go on. The pocket was roomy enough to hold my phone, IPod, glasses and earphones and there was still extra room. The water bottle held a good quantity and was easy to unscrew to drink from. ( I didn't bother with the pull out top). The only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is because I found it very difficult to pull the straps to adjust the waist size which was a little on the big side for me.

just what I was looking for...
I've been looking forever for a "fanny pack" that 1) didn't look ridiculous, and 2) was just the right size. This waist pack is simple enough to be not at all cumbersome, but plenty large enough to carry everything I need when hiking with my Pup (like an extra small bottle, a small dish for his water, a small towel). I immediately ditched the plastic water bottle and replaced it with my own stainless steel one, which fits perfectly thanks to the drawstring opening. This feature also keeps bottle secure when I pick up the pace. The front pocket makes my phone and small reward treats readily accessible. I use this pack nearly everyday and it's holding up great....even when I spray the whole thing with bug spray before our treks. And the price? Unbeatable.

Wrong product was delivered
I ordered two of the water waist packs - one arrived as ordered and the second was the correct brand name but a child's back pack instead. As was intended for adult usage and a totally different purpose - the knapsack is of no use to me. Guess it made my nephew happy!
