This would make a very nice gift and it is a great value for money. I skipped "sheernish" because Amazon, you can't begin to see through it. It's Beautiful, Heavy, Well Made and great match to my rustic, nostalgic + inspiration themed writing, history & English middle school classes.... Fantastic WWII code breaker prop!
I purchased this item as a prop for my daughter’s elementary school project/presentation. I needed a typewriter that would have been used in WWII and was portable for her to carry. This worker perfectly. It’s decorative if course, but the rest of the children in her class admired it. The size was just right and it is light weight. She dropped it on the gym floor after her presentation and while the inside porcelain broke, the exterior remained intact and usable.

I love, love, love this retro-looking mini typewriter! I have been wanting one of these for some time. This one serves the purpose. It is so cute and so sturdy. Go for it! The shipping was insanely fas! I ordered it and the next thing I knew--it was at the front door! I love fast shipping. I am not patient and I hate waiting. LOL! The pencil cup looks great on my desk. It’s very well made and looks like a miniature old fashioned typewriter. It’s worth the price and would please anyone as a gift! A plus is that it’s functional as a pencil holder!
