Our vet recommended something for the dogs dry itchy winter skin. I decided to give this a try. My dogs like the flavor, it’s easy to add to the food and is budget friendly.

I supplement oils into my pets diet that consists mainly of dry kibble with a wet/canned meal/snack once a day for any supplements given. Our 14lb Chihuahua terrier mix is prone to allergies and she has a bit of a harsh coat due to wire-haired terrier in her ancestory.I thought this oil was great quality, the pets didn't mind the flavor at all and storage wasn't very messy at all. I kept the bottle in the refrig in a disposable plastic container lined with paper towel. The only mess came from if I wasn't careful about the pump itself not dripping product that was already dispensed, after dispensing I just touch the nozzle with a bit of paper towel and that stopped any drips. This is expected with use of the pump- I didn't use the squirt nozzle included at all as I wanted to have an idea of how much I was dispensing.My picky little pup didn't mind the oil at all, it didn't need to be mixed or flavored with anything else. I just pumped some into a little dish over a little bit of hotdog, cubed ham or braunschweiger and she licked the bowl clean.I wanted to use all the oil within 90 days to have the oil be at it's best- so my 3 cats did get some and I also at times mixed it into whatever I was feeding the barn cats. All 3 indoor and 5 outdoor cats readily ate whatever the oil was added to. It definitely helps the dog (main focus) and we have also noticed an improvement in softness of cats haircoat. I do like using a variety of oils to prevent boredom with dosing and so I usually have 2 bottles open at a time- and I would definitely buy this Hemp/Salmon oil again (I have already purchased 2 bottles total already) and would buy any of the other oils offered by this company.I highly recommend this oil for all cats and dogs- kibble really just seems to process out quite a lot of the benefit (and we feed very pricey cat kibble (cat with allergies) and expensive dog kibble plus freeze-dried raw.Even if you feed an expensive kibble and your pet does already have a soft coat- I would still recommend supplementing Omega Oils and I bet in a few months you will actually notice a difference.

My boxer is loving the taste of this product on his kibble. He has tolerated it well. Im just not convinced yet that it has had any affect in decreasing his shedding, which is my main reason for using it. He sheds terrible. I think we have been using it now for close to 6 weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed it will make some difference in the near future. It is very easy to use since we did receive a pump with our order. I just pump 1-1 1/2 squirts on his food. It is also in our basement where it is cooler so I decided not to refrigerate as the bottle suggests and so far that has not been an issue.

This is actually my first time using the Best Paw Salmon and Hemp Oil. I was buying their Pure Alaskan Salmon Oil previously. I have 3 dogs, one of which is 15 years old. They absolutely LOVE the Salmon oil I was buying. My Standard Poodle would refuse to touch her food until I put the oil on. I have tried other cheaper oils and not only did she take forever to eat her food (eating it like she didnt really want it) but she wouldn't finish it making me throw away food, plus, all my dogs would end up the the runs. They love this oil. It doesnt cause them to have the runs, I switched to the Salmon and Hemp oil to try and help my old girl with some pain she seems to be experiencing. Too early to tell if it helps with that, but it definitely keeps her eating and getting that nutrition in gives me confidence that she will be with me for a long, LONG time!

I have a whippet mix who is almost 6 years old with some anxiety issues. She is active and is getting arthritis in her hips and lower back. She was on some anti-inflammatory pills for a bit but she hated taking them. The Vet decided to try other options. We found this and so far so go plus her anxiety is a little less. She was a rescue and about a year old when I got her. She is scared of a lot of things. She has improved a ton since I have had her but there still some things that scare her into a ball (she is afraid of heavy rain and gunshots still). I don't like her being on pills all the time either so this product has been great for her. I do recommend this product for others to try. My cats won't touch it, they are snobs.

I have two dogs. My ten year old Shar-Pei has frequently had salmon oil in his diet to help with his skin and coat. Recently he has really slowed down and on a friend's recommendation, I tried this salmon and hemp oil. My dog has been taking this for two months and I DEFINITELY see an improvement in his mobility. He plays again!My other dog is a mix with longer hair, her coat is slowly getting shinier with this addition to her diet.Both dogs took to it right away. I add it to their daily meals, morning and night.The company is friendly and responsive to emails as well.

We struggle to get my dog to eat, and we had a brand of salmon oil that she adored. It would make her gobble her food down when she normally won't touch it. We got this one because it has hemp, but she seems far less interested in it. Maybe because it's less smelly? (which is a plus for me...I hated the smelly brand). Once she tastes it doesn't mind it, but she hasn't been gobbling up happily like she did with the other brand so I may switch back and suppliment with hemp.

Sassy is 9 years old and due to separation anxiety, she ate herself to obesity. That, in turn, caused diabetes. She is on a special food diet and by using just a few squirts of the Hemp and Salmon Oil, she eats her food without hesitation. I can also see improvement in her skin and hair coat - it doesn’t look dull and lifeless now! Highly recommend this product! I have to keep all the other animals from trying to eat Sassy’s food. So now I give them a squirt too!

Product is great and even seems to help out my older dog with her mobility which surprised me, i really didn't think it would make a difference but you try everything you can for your 16 year companion. The problem is the quantity received I'm not too sure if Amazon shipped the wrong container or if the seller description is incorrect but I only received a 8oz bottle not the 16oz advertised. This doubles the cost and makes it a poor value

This is Kûna. He’s 5.5 years and has experienced a couple of severe injuries and his body is starting to hurt. I researched. I tried other cheaper products. I never saw any results that proved that we can use it for the rest of his life.Kûna has never liked peanut butter. He gets kelp and kelp treats. Also glucosamine and multivitamins.Kûna has been on a diet for a couple of months. He’s been very hungry, but he’s reached his goal weight, and I think it’s because he’s been on this oil for over a month.His cost is amazing. Shedding like a dying tree tho..... ugh!!!He moving better. He’s happier and you have created s lifetime customer.

So 2 of my 3 cats like it... and the best part is, the 2 that like it are the ones I want using it! It has been a week, and I believe it is working. The 2 cats fight a lot over their "territory". The one is female and is very on edge all the time and can't get to a litter box if not supervised. The other is male and quite aggressive, claiming everything as his against the one female mentioned. The female is starting to venture around again, and the male is becoming less aggressive and just watching instead of attacking.Long story short - this product is worth a try if you have agitated and aggressive cats (or dogs I assume)

I dont believe the product is at fault, here is my review. But a caveat: So, my Golden has allergies and it comes through by her scratching her skin off! So we have tried many things and nothing works - we ended up having to put her on allergy medication from the Vets. So I bought this product, Pure Hemp & Salmon Oil for Dogs, hoping that it may help her skin and her to scratch less. However, she actually increased her scratching and fussing and it created some very inflamed and red and raw skin. So clearly there is an ingredient in this product that she is sensitive or allergic too, either the Hemp or the Salmon.But the product seemed great. It wasnt odourous, and it was easy to use, and easy to pump, and a clean dispenser. I was very hopeful that this would be a great product for my Golden, but I wasnt able to give it it's full bottle trial because something in the ingredients, she was allergic to. She did not scratch previously, (due to her meds) and started scratching like crazy, about two days after I started giving it to her, then gave it to her for a week, wanting to give it a try, but the scratching got out of control and her skin broke in some areas, and so I had to stop giving it to her, then after one day of stopping the product, she stopped scratching again and back to normal.So all in all, it's unfortunate, and I don't blame the product, I blame my Goldens severe allergies.

The product was described as a 16oz bottle but I received only an 8oz bottle. I contacted the seller, and the issue was looked after immediately. Apparently, the wrong labels have been attached to the product so it scans correctly and gets shipped even though it is 1/2 of the amount expected. My first bottle arrived Jan. 2/20 and the second one came today, Jan. 4/20 as promised by the great seller!
