Colour lasts, no discernible scent
First off, ignore some of those negative reviews - I can only conclude that they didn't follow the instructions. The instructions ask you to remove the label round the jar, then, wearing gloves (not strictly necessary in my view), unscrew the vented lid and REMOVE the clear plastic disc inside the top of the jar, screw the vented lid back on, then place the jar in the cistern on the opposite side to the inlet. It does take a couple of hours for the colour to build up in the cistern water, but the first flush of the day will have the deepest colour. True, the colouring is lighter than the loo blocks, but this product literally does last for months (instead of days for a loo block). I do agree with most reviewers - there is no scent that I can detect! All in all, great value for money, but not if you are hoping for a strong masking scent or a deep colour to the water.

Excellent Value Toilet Flushes.
My order (for 3 x three-packs) was delivered within three days (on the Monday) and arrived today, well-securely wrapped for the postal service. I have used similar types in the past with good results. After unscrewing the large white cap before use, it is imperative that the thin clear plastic cover over the top of the glass container is removed and recycled. These flushes will not work unless that thin plastic is removed. (Incidentally, don't bother tying fiddly bits of string around them for easy retrieval if you don't want to put your hand in the water. Just bend a metal hanger so that it's easy to fish an empty container out, and keep your hanger 'tool' with your other tools.) Tesco used to sell very similar flushes on its £1 shelves. Since then the price of similar products has gone through the roof. Having taken delivery of 9 today and putting one to use immediately, and being conscious of the need to save water (for water waste only!), I intend to open a book for bets - will these 9 bottles outlast me?!! I am hoping not, but my stock will certainly last for two or three years. These Prism flushes are excellent value and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Absolute rubbish, not worth the money
The seller contacted me before I even received these, saying that customer satisfaction was their no. 1 priority and if I had any issues I should let them know before leaving a product review. So after I received these cistern blocks and had tried one for a couple of days, , I messaged the seller through Amazon to tell them I was not impressed with this product. And they have not replied.So....here is my product review.RUBBISH. Removed the screw-on lid and removed the plastic cap as per instructions. replaced screw-on lid. Placed in cistern, where it's now been for a week. No blue water, no foam, no evidence at all that the item is doing anything. There is some evidence of the blue block starting to dissolve at the top of the glass jar but it just sits there and does not mix with the cistern water as it refills after a flush.I have ow removed the lid off the glass jar completely and left it offbeat even now it's just as bad.So my advice would be to pass on this and buy a better brand. I'll be going back to the Sano Blue which works brilliantly. I only tried these for a change, what a mistake that was.

Make sure you remove all protective film
The only way I made these work was to position them on their side. This makes sure the blue can leech in the systern water. If they are positioned upright they do not work very well at all.

Give it time
I don’t understand why some are being over critical about this product, I don’t think they’ve given it long enough to work, you should give it at least a week. It’s a nice pale blue with a nice scent, not overpowering at all.
