Best hair straightener I’ve ever had. I’ve always used remington hair straightener except for the last time when i switched to a phillips straightener which almost cost me same as this straightener but it damaged my hair badly, so i switched back to the good old remington with the keratin protect series because it seemed good for my fine and damaged hair. After using it a few times i can say that i do not regret my decision at all. It not only straightens hair but also protects and adds amazing shine to the hair. The size is compact as well and you don’t need to go over sections more than twice. It has 9 heat settings which shall work perfectly with any kind of hair. The only minor issue i have is it takes up a while to heat up but that’s negligible compared to how amazing my hair looks after using it. I would definitely recommend this straightener.

Plug-in circuit built quality is poor. Stops working very often... you need to press it hard quite often to ensure proper connection to the socket. My review is not getting posted as it is critical.😒

Ho acquistato più volte questa Remington Keratin Protect S8540 ( specifico perché più volte: la prima presa quando uscì nel 2018 , la quale ha avuto vita fino al 2025, la seconda presa come regalo nel 2024 e funziona ancora, la terza presa nel 2025 per rimpiazzare la prima ) e ne sono rimasta davvero soddisfatta! 🌸 La piastra è leggera, maneggevole e si scalda in pochissimi secondi. Le piastre in ceramica sono arricchite con cheratina e olio di mandorle, e questo fa davvero la differenza: i capelli restano morbidi, luminosi e non si seccano, anche dopo più passate. La temperatura è regolabile (da 150° a 230°C), quindi posso scegliere quella più adatta al mio tipo di capello senza rovinarlo. Lo schermo digitale è chiaro e pratico, e trovo comodissima la funzione di blocco della temperatura, così non rischio di modificarla per sbaglio. Un altro punto a favore è lo spegnimento automatico di sicurezza dopo 60 minuti e la funzione di memoria che salva l’ultima impostazione usata. In più, grazie alla custodia resistente al calore, posso riporla subito dopo l’uso senza aspettare troppo. Con questa piastra i capelli restano lisci e setosi a lungo, senza effetto crespo, ma si possono anche realizzare onde morbide con un po’ di manualità. Davvero un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo: la consiglio a chi cerca un risultato professionale direttamente a casa.

Vraiment bien ! La chaleur est réglable, il est facile à utiliser et respecte les cheveux. Très satisfaite de ce lisseur.
