Saphir Beauté du Cuir Crepe Brush - Clean Suede & Nubuck Boots, Shoes & Jackets

Really nice already used it on shoes. Works as expected and what hs recommended.

I decided to buy this suede brush after buying a nice pair of suede shoes I wanted to maintain. I chose this one over the other rubber brushes I saw because the rubber ribbons seemed more compact and better secured to the wooden base. Since I haven't used other suede brushes before, I can't say how this one compares, but I can say that this brush works really well. The material is a lot like those rubber cement erasers you buy in craft stores. I tested it on an old, really dirty pair of nubuck shoes, and with a little bit of elbow grease, 90% of the deep smudges were gone and the flattened nap was restored. The brush is still in good shape afterwards, none of the ribbons are coming apart from the base. Just like a pencil eraser, it did wear down slightly and I imagine it will need to be replaced eventually. I'm pretty impressed haha.

I was surprised by this brush. It is much more effective than anything else I've found at raising the nap on nubuck without causing damage. Suede brushes and scotchbright are too agressive for nubuck, but this really does the job. You can still get some scratches in your nubuck if your rub too hard or too much with the edge, but overall this brush is the one to get. I take off one star because the crepe does pickup some dirt/nap/color from the nubuck, and the crepe itself is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to clean. After time, I would be concerned about color transfer if the brush had been used a lot on dark nubuck and then you used it on a lighter color. So if you have some nubuck that is black or dark, and other that is a light tan, you might want to have two of these to keep them separate.

It really does pull the dirt out. I bought the liquid suede cleaner of the same brand (forgot the french name) so together they get the job done.

It may look a little odd, but it works well. An essential brush for maintaining your suede.

I have been looking for a suede brush made of rubbery silicone FOR YEARS! Years ago, I got a silicone pad along with a suede coat from Lands End and I've been searching for a replacement ever since. This thing is miraculous! Cleans and freshens suede. It's not gentle-- but it WORKS!! Love the wooden base. Well worth the $$.

Having been reluctant to dip a toe into suede due to my fears about the impact of our dismal climate, I finally succumbed to temptation and bought a pair of C&J brogues in the sales. The sales assistant recommended a crepe brush and, being a longstanding fan of Saphir’s products, I opted for this one. I’m glad I did, as it works a treat.

使いやすい大きさとさすが天然ゴムの弾力性が、気に入りました。ただ一度ついてしまった汚れは取れにくいです。
