Whips make-up off very quickly though they do need more cleansing water as it didn't sink that well and 'pooled off' a bit. Good size - I do like a larger pad for removing a full face of make up.Will update when I wash them as I wonder if they are like new towels and work better after a wash?Nice packaging and Amazon even posted without any plastic.So a couple of months later... they still waste cleansing water and they do not wash. This photo is a new pair used once (I need 4 sides for a night out face full of makeup - the only time I wear any) that's been soaked in a well known stain remover for an hour ahead of going in a white wash. I use Bare Minerals, Clinique and Bobbi Brown make-up. Suffice to say, they do not rinse under the tap.I'd like to stop using them, although I'm hesitant to return to the waste of cotton wool.

I wanted to give up cotton pads so bought these with high hopes, problem is make up doesn't wash off them, especially mascara, I've soaked them and washed a few times which belies the fact I want to be more eco friendly. When first used they don't feel soft on the skin and need washing to soften them up. They are now sitting there stained and not used much due to the hassle of trying to get them clean.

Great product with prompt delivery, the pads are large enough that they can be used a couple of times before needing to be washed making them even more eco friendly, came in a nice little box for easy storage, no plastic packaging, would definitely recommend.
