Perfect for Grilling
Sturdy, well-made 17” kabob skewers that don’t bend when loaded and are long enough to keep hands away from the heat. Great for grilling!

Sturdy, good size, good value
I bought these 17" skewers to span them over a fire pit. The skewers are sturdy and of good quality that supporting them only on two points is not a problem. They are also long enough to leave the handles out of the direct heat. The fact that they are bar-shaped means the kabab will not roll by gravity and I can flip it upside down easily. I bought these at $12.99; great value. (This is my second purchase. The first set costed a few bucks more.) These are easy to clean in my opinion. If the food got baked onto the surface, the stain would be hard to get off, just like other stainless steel cookware. But, I do not mind the stain so a good soak and scrap does the job.

A little narrow, but decent quality
They ended up being a little narrower than I expected but they are not flimsy or overly thin. They were a good thickness for meat and mushrooms, but when the kids wanted to roast apples over the bonfire, they had to use 2 skewers per apple. They did the job well. Price was decent.

Longer skewers means cooler handles
I had aluminum skewers before but they were degrading and difficult to wash. These stainless steel skewers are the best. The longer length means I can leave the handles outside of the bbq when I lay the food on the hot grill. The handles stay cook and I can just use my fingers to rotate them. The flat "blade" means the food items stay in place and don't "twirl" around the skewer when I am trying to rotate them. They come in a nice draw-string bag for easy transport or just storing in the drawer. Each skewer comes with a little plastic tip to protect you from the points. Although I have never had any issue getting the skewers to puncture the food items, I have never punctured my fingers... so I tossed the tips. Easy to clean - just throw them in the dishwasher. If you are opposed to staining on your stainless steel, simply scrub them with a scotch-bright pad and they look as good as new.

Good Value
I have been very pleased, and like these much better than the bamboo spikes. I always wind up with a spike under a fingernail when I use the bamboo, but never this these. We use them on a grill over an open campfire. We use long tongs to turn them on the fire and then to remove them and place them on a serving tray/plate. Once they cool for just a minute or two, you can handle the circular ends without fear. Food slides easily on and off without needing spray or even oil. If you use soft veggies (like mushrooms) or fruit (we always use pineapple) be sure to keep the pieces large to avoid breakage. I like the longer skewers for convenience but having a couple of shorter ones is helpful. Cleanup is easy, also. They are discolored from the fire, but I'm fine with that. Food doesn't stick and comes off with a wipe of a soapy cloth in a camp sink. Once dry, they store easily in the storage sack. They even have small plastic tips to prevent getting stabbed when reaching for them in storage, but I have found that the tips are too much hassle. The storage sack works just fine, because the tips of the metal skewers are not sharp enough for injury in my opinion. Just sharp enough to easily get your food loaded.
