Peg tuners are juke!!!
Had I known it was manufactured in China I would not have purchased it. Upon delivery and trying to tune it the tuning peg (D) string broke. After seeing it the rest look just as cheap and for$600+ I expected a much nicer guitar!!!

very happy with this discounted blemished guitar
Got this for the comfort feature, which i am totally loving, and known blemishes when purchased are very tolerable for a player instrument. the minor discoloration on the comfort bevel, and the minor ripples on the back of the guitar hardly detract from the visual appeal, especially when my arm covers the bevel while i am playing. The sound is just perfect, well balanced, and strong, very crisp! the electric feature is also nice, and i would recommend this series to any serious acoustic player that wants good sound from a comfortable guitar.

Disappointed in Washburn
I have a Washburn WD30CE/12 12-string that I bought about 6 years ago for $500. Its finish and quality were excellent for the price, and was also made in China, so I bought another Washburn, this WCG25SCE. I've got to say the sound and playability/set-up were excellent and worthy of a much more expensive guitar. The tuning machines were junk, however: 1: Not room on all posts for the string to wind down toward the headstock. One had the string wound up away from the headstock (this is how it came). Dimensional variation between tuners and substantially different from the Grover 102, which it appears to be a copy of. 2) The black coating on the tuners was coming off where contacted by tools during installation and by the strings during stringing (see note 1). The finish of the guitar was substandard for the price range, the lacquer so thick in places, it looked to have been poured on.The guitar appears to have been in the seller's stock for a long time, as the E and B strings were corroded and the battery was dead. So much for a function check before shipping...

washburn
I love the "comfort insert", it could be a little longer towards the neck of the guitar. The guitar's string action was set too close to the finger board, and the strings tended to buzz when strummed hard. A minor neck adjustment corrected that issue. Being a mass produced instrument, there are a couple of cosmetic points, there is some glue visible where the neck is fastened to the body and the end of the frets still need some filing to smooth the sharp edges off. However for the price, it is an excellent instrument. The pick up has a wide range of adjustments, that takes a bit of time to get accustomed to. All in all very happy with it.

It's a Beauty!
I must admit that I bought this guitar based on looks and the Washburn reputation. I've have some pretty decent guitars and this is by far the best looking. The guitar is beautifully made....really a work of art. However, it's not just a "pretty face". The sound is full and rich with a really nice high end. The tuner is fast and accurate and the electronics are excellent. The setup was not great, but I usually have all of the guitars I buy setup to my liking.Good looking, functional and well made. It's quickly becoming one of my favorites.

Big sound in a gorgeous package.
Beginner guitar player here. Did lots of research prior to purchasing this guitar both online and in music stores. Absolutely an amazing guitar for the price. Looks gorgeous and sounds/plays beautifully. The electronics are great and sound so nice plugged into my amp. Well packaged so that there was no chance for damage. Very happy with this purchase and to finally be motivated to play/learn again.
